last nite till dis mornin, stepped on dad's tail... nw ok le lah... but i'd to be careful...
a while ago, almost cut myself while cuttin d lotus roots for the soup tt i'm helpin my mum preparing... luckily i got long nails. d knife cut my long nail instead of my finger. & my nail nvr break... d knife slice d nail polish part only... *phew* so glad i nvr cut myself...

do new things & re-do others... many experiences gained???
ytd while chattin w my friend on MSN, she sort of reminded me tt since i got into uni, i did many things tt i nvr do like for yrs and even try new things... made me wonder wat ve i been doing for d past few yrs tt i'm workin... seemed like though i'm busy and had activities like dance trg, piano, religion mtg, it was quite routine... & since d start of my sch life, many things differ... or rather, i tried many things & gain new experiences... if not i might become a 'sua ku' person le... lol...
things nvr done for yrs / things i tried b4 (yrs ago)...
- try self-learn swimmin (sort of at d beginnin of d yr)
- go ktv at partyworld (3 times this sch holi)
- cyclin (durin may jus a day b4 my BKK trip)
- go east coast park (to cycle)
- take plane (go BKK w families)
- go lib borrow books to read
- stay o/n in chalet (if it's on for dec this yr. last time was w my sec sch friends at BB)
- joggin (mayb i should train back for my stamina, if i got d time or m i jus findin excuses??? lol...)
- bowlin (kip droppin into d 'drain'), pool/billard (tried once), kayak (w poly friends though i totally dunno hw to swim then), went wild wild wet (but kanna like 80+ missed calls & i oso still totally dunno hw to swim then), went UK fair at woodlands, etc etc...
1st time:
- makin sch lib my hm durin previous sem
- being an emcee for a wedding banquet in front of my parents (i've much much less confident in front of them...)
- makin beaded figurin & accessories
- try roller blading (same day s cyclin at east coast park. ssshhhh.... parents dunno... =X)
- went job agencies (a couple of agencies at jurong east)
- find temp jobs (sort of nvr find b4 in my whole life)
- being a flyer distributors (not an easy job for me, 脸皮太薄...)
- buy so many clothes, etc (at BKK but they r cheap...)
- watch concert (Aaron Kwok's concert in May and May Day on 29 Aug)
- friends stayin o/n for movie marathon (cos i cant go friend's hse)
- sneaked to friend's house to try to bake cookies (mty 1st attempt)
- watch so many movies b it in cinema, in lectures (for a module) or at hm
- went out quite often (almost every week once durin last sch term except exam period & relative often this sch holi esp endin of d holi)

sch is startin... if not cos national day fall on a sun, today will alrdy start lessons le. though i dun wish to go back study, i actually wished i had lessons today. at least can go sch & most likely wont step on dad's tail & still can b w friends. sighed...
watever happened occured last nite but i noe i alrdy step on his tail d moment i asked him let me slp in b4 d term starts (even in jokin manner). so i give in but he not happy alrdy. thus, this mornin i dare not slp late but jus nw when my mum woke up, she told me my dad complaint to her. wat does he want? i alrdy give in. wake up earlier than him. i usually sunday got dance trainin, so i woke up v early like almost 7 days a week & i allow him to slp in & not drive me to trainin wor. i rather i wake up earlier to go myself. he always like tt... like a small kid. want ppl to accomodate him. sighed... early mornin kanna liao...
but i shan't think bout tt... cos i believed wed & thurs i only got lectures at 3.30pm so i could still 'slp in' then.... better choice cos dad'll b workin but must make sure my phone not on silent again. dun wanna another dunno hw many tens of missed calls fr him or my mum.
oso last nite, my friend had a tentative plan for 3d2n chalet in dec in sentosa. though i not sure hw to convince my parents, i will still go no matter wat ba (i noe i v naughty... lol!!!). unless my friend is unable to book and convince her parents. last paper on 8 dec and i believed i would b dyin for a break to rest & relax my mind. jus wished no more nightmare for me... & d chalet will b a motivation for me... like wat my friend said... it'll b something to look forward to... hee... keepin fingers crossed for nw... ^.^

actions speaks louder than words
today, early mornin, went to toa payoh w my godma. my mum asked her bring me go see doc for my face. d acne prob... think if i nvr go out in d mornin, dear might ve come over in d mornin aft he work overnight shift ytd b4 gg work again at 1pm. at 1st workin at 10am but last min changed to 1pm & he still agreed to go to my grandma's hse for dinner.
anw, in d afternoon, aft he finish work, he came over. went to coffeeshop to get coffee 1st & asked if i need anything. i asked my cousin who at 1st nodded her head when i asked if she wanna eat anything & when she heard he's buyin, she dun wan alrdy but in d end still asked for 'dou sha bao' & my mum wanted 'cha sao bao'.
aft dinner at my grandma's hse, b4 we left, my cousins rushed over to him for hug b4 we left. he volunteer to drive my godma hm too but she dun wan & sp he jus drove my mum & i hm. upon reachin, he parked his car nicely and came out & went up w us. in d end, he was jus sendin both of us hm when both my mum & i tot he wanted to sit awhile. my mum was amazed at his action.

an 'eventful' wk...
this's d final wk of sch holi. i'll b in 3rd yr when term starts next wk. fast or not, i oso dunno hw to describe. i guess depends on wat ur mentality/mood is. shall look at d positive side.
well, decided to work till last wk so s to rest a bit b4 term starts. but so far, i spent some of d time to stock up... ya. stock up for comin term. went to buy coloured pens ytd, went to get highlighter today (cant find ytd), jus nw even went to stock up on printer inks cos i believe this sem, thr might b higher chance to print notes fr hm s most lectures start at 8.30am when library only open that time. usually, d prof likes to upload last min so it's not possible to print b4hand.
k lah. other than stockin up for comin sem, watched bit of HK drama '溏心风暴'on mon. well, not quite a bit la. watched almost like 7 to 8 ep. oso went to partyworld ytd w him & this afternoon oso went to meet up a friend for lunch. thus, so far, this wk had been quite 'eventful'

change of plan
today, initial plan was to meet an old friend for lunch & mayb go toa payoh to collect my new spectacles tml but i think i shall swop these 2 plans since it's better for my friend to meet up tml instead since i'm d free one right nw. so no harm done anyway. hee...
ya. it was his 姑姑's shop & he drove me thr on sat jus to make d spectacles cos my mum asked him to 'drag' me to go make a new pair. anyway, d spectables shop is jus aft exiting fr braddel mrt stn so not tt hard to find & dun think will take long. thus, i guess i shall go bpp aft i collect my spectacles to go walk ard popular bookshop to check if i need to stock up anything for the comin term.
at 1st tot of doing both tgt but i think it'll b better to split up these 2 plans so i can do it slow... slow & steady... no lah. jus wanna let it easy b4 term starts on d 11th.
for comin term, i've got 7 core modules, 1 of which is non-examinable plus most likely another elective. so total i would ve 8 modules? & d core r all (most) d bio modules (cancer bio, neurobio, plant bio, developmental bio, & human genetics). all heavy modules.
well, though i'd not been doin well, not even average till nw, i'd survived 2 yrs & it's halfway through. i guess i shan't give myself too much pressure on d honour 'standin' like d past few sem. i dun wan more 'nightmares', & doin hmwork even in my dreams, & jumpin up fr bed thinkin i'm late or wonderin wat to study again. must relax but i shall cont'd to persevere on doing to my best ability.
oso i jus hope i get my 1st choice for elective s it would end much earlier (6.30pm) than the other 2 choices (both ending at 9.30pm). keepin my fingers crossed till d outcome comes out on d 7th... i got joke w my uni xiao mei say mayb i shall stay o/n at her hse instead if we (touch wood) got into d elective tt ended tt late...
though elective may end v late and most of d days will end at 5.30pm, i've got 3 days w long break in between esp on thurs w 5 hours break. think can go hm & go back sch loh. but i wont la. it'll b a waste of time to travel hm and waste of $$ too. go out of sch to eat mayb ba. if not den can stay in sch & try to do tut or assignment or lab reports w friends. at least if not sure, mayb can still ask friends. & also, i'd extra short day on fri. only 2 hr lecture fr 8.30 to 10.30am. my friends & i purposely dun fill up tt short day w elective even though we need to travel thr jus for 2 hour lesson. so we'll ve long weekend ma... haha...
oso hope this sem wont too packed w assignments like 2 sem ago and no online 100 level 'game' aka 'tutti-quanti' or online 70 level 'test' like last sem & no more american style mcqs... i wish got no more new crazy ideas if not 会吃不'xiao' loh. all these can lessen d revision time loh.

on thurs nite b4 he left, my mum went to tok to him while she sent me away. so my mum shared secret w him. well, not quite a secret (i cant say y) la. anw, she jus asked him to bring me go make another pair of spectacles and he did. he brought me to his 姑姑's shop to make the spectacle ytd mornin.
in d evenin (ytd), he brought me to have a dinner on a 'cruise' to watch the national day preview fireworks. been quite a long while since i go on sea. enjoyed myself though i'd to wake up early this mornin for training. we were called upon for d last game which we were supposed to dance with 2 other pairs. got a couple (auntie and uncle) who were v lihai at dancin but we (or at least for me) jus try to have fun there (since nobody else know me there. hee...). they oso got games for kids and oso practically for everyone & most of d time we were watching on d tv at our seats at deck 2 except for d last game and times when we were out watching d fireworks.
