Just on Monday, the 1st day of school after the term break, a 'uni-mate' stabbed his prof & commited suicide probably due to stress. According to the papers, he was not doing well for his FYP & his scholarship had been terminated about 2 weeks ago.
Today, my friend told me that on her way to the library, she saw an overly-stressed student who seemed to be late as the student dashed off. As the student ran, he/she (I don't know the gender) kept mumbling to himself/herself.
Well, I admit I am quite stressed especially when trying hard to catch up in my studies but I'll make sure I do not go to that extend. Scary...

a sad tragedy
A sad tragedy occur today in school when it's jus d 1st day of sch after d term break.
a final yr triple E student stabbed his prof in the morning & cut himself before he jumped down fr the building & died almost on d spot.
heard from our lecturer but she nvr say clearly & i was confused s our lecture topic touches on conflict too. in d end, michelle's sis sms her & so we roughly noe what happened.
& after watchin d news, realized tt it was d place we usually go on thurs for our film art lesson. we always passed by tt area. so luckily today is not thurs. & it was pretty near my sch too.
it's really a pity tt d student was alrdy in his final yr, final 2 more mths & things like tt occur. sighed... life is so unpredictable...

Flare Up?
This mornin, my mum last min told me that my dad asked us to go JP earlier to wait for him at ard 4+pm. s last week, he was earlier than the time he said so this time, my mum suggested to go out at 2+pm instead & he reached at 3.45pm. luckily we went out earlier.
my dad drove to EXPO wantin to go see d travel fair but the carpark was very full that we cant get in at all so we went for dinner instead while waiting to see d chinese physician. dad's seeing for his hand's pain while I see for my ligament problem. doc said i no need go back le. but these few mths no strenous exercise. must let it recover fully.
then my dad drove us to tampines (think st 81) to walk ard while he go for his meeting at st 91. at 1st my mum & i intend to go tampines mall aft tt but my dad doesn't seemed to know hw to go. thus, we decided to stay put & went mac to wait for him s my mum said ltr my dad grumble if he had difficulty findin d place.in d end, they still end up grumbling & were unhappy.
cos it rain & my dad asked us to wait d main rd outside d mac (told me) but he still said d place whr he dropped us off earlier which is another place (told my mum). then my mum grumble say need to walk & it was raining, etc & she hang up d phone. i was confused so i called my dad & this time he 'flare' up & grumble say he turn in to d carpark & nvr specify where.
my mum & i walk ard but couldn't find him & then my mum angry & grumble. my dad who was still waiting for us called again & demanded to know where we r. told him we r lookin for him & he oso not happy. when we walked back & he saw us, he shouted, 'OI' to call us. & both of them started grumbling louder & louder which I suddenly 'flare up' & said, 够了啦，都过去了。only then, both of them shut up but my mood sucks & listen to my mp3 & pretend to sleep. but i know aft i said tt, they stopped d topic & started chatting bout other stuffs in normal mood le.

yesterday, forgot that i have got a meetin to attend & promised my friend to go swimming though I should not do strenous exercise for bout 2-3 months. Well, i did not intend to do till very siong lah.
in the end, my friend forgot to bring her swimming stuff to work as she had to go straight after work. so we ended up having dinner together, shop a while then go watch the 'curious case of benjamin button'.
we actually planna go swimmin once a week since last dec but only managed to meet up yesterday though it was not successful when the weather was good after days of rain. anyway, told her that we'll still fixed friday to go swimmin if weather permit. if not, then we'll jus dine together & shop around & even catch a movie. oso suggested askin our 2 other friends along when they can. & suggested that if we wanna catch up together, even if 1 of us cant make it, we should jus continue if not we can almost forever dun meet up alrdy.

& this yr, we not gg holi w my cousins le. but my dad intend to go phuket but i dun really feel like gg w them alone cos it won't be tt fun & wat if i step on their tail again or they black face. it wont be fun. esp when mum cant tahan walkin long or go w/o her diamond water...
ytd, mum said her friend ask us to go holi w them to HK. but today, mum said their date not suitable. sad. if not i think it'll b more fun to go w them though i'll b d odd one out but at least i similar ages w d auntie's sons & daughter in-laws. so should b more fun ba. too bad lah. jus hope it'll go well if really go for a trip w parents alone.

Been going out...
Since last thursday, I had been going out.
19022009 - Meet my friends (ex-colleagues) after lesson
20022009 - Meet another friend (friend's friend) after school
21022009 - Went Marina, Home, Bt Batok, Tampines, Bedok, Lot1
22022009 - went for Training (though I did not do as advice by d zhong yi shi), then meeting, & BPP
23022009 - Went Tanjong Pagar meet my long lost yet found sec sch bestfriend for lunch. & tonight, 2 of my leaders will be coming.
After today, no more excuses. have to study. have to chiong. next week got 3 quizzes, 1 of which is like an mock exam. & there are assignments & quizzes there after. I'll have to hang in there as I'm alrdy half-way through the semester. It's going to be half-way through my 4 yrs of study in no time.

tried but fun day
Had 2 early morning tutorials then a lab class. b4 gg for lab class, i went to the washrm & am amazed tt the 2 students in d 2 cubicles could still chat with each other & talk on d phone. this is nothing. think they r doing 'big business' then and they can even go about askin each other if they finishin soon. worst still, they discuss bout what's they best position to do whatever they wanna do. i guess they never realized tt there r many people queuein outside waiting for d only cubicle left & listening to their conversations.
enough of that. this morning, for the practical class, i accidently dump my pencils & markers into my bag instead of my lab coat pocket while we rush over for d briefing by d unpopular prof. when i went back, i forget again & dump my bag up on the shelf. i feel so handicapped as i cant copy anything or to mark down anything at all & had to borrow pencil from my kind friend.
during the 2nd 45 min incubation period, we went over to the auditorium to take a look around the travel fair. in the end, i didn't realized i'm being targeted by d emcee who is talkin through his mic and was happily walkin behind my friends. d emcee stopped me & ask my name & in turn stopped my 3 other friends. he brought us over to the Vietnam booth & got us into playing the game of hitting the bottle which is hanging in mid-air. we have to be blindfolded & only instructions were given by our partner. feel so paiseh.
We oso went over to the India Booth where we have our hands painted & in the end, we were really handicapped cos we r left w 1 hand to work with in the lab as we need to wear gloves. We had a hard time putting on our lab coat which we failed so as d painted design on our hands were smeared.
anyway, after sch, actually, i left earlier to meet my friends (ex-colleagues) to go IMM for dinner to celebrate another friend's birthday. but it doesn't matter that much for leaving the lecture earlier as we were watchin Matrix at that time. I can try watch online. haha. Fun lesson but will be stressful for exam.
At fish & co, saw my sec sch friends too & our english teacher. it was 1 of my friend's birthday & apparently, they made it known to d staffs & d staffs sang him a birthday song. after d dinner, went challenger & there i saw another sec sch friend. so coincident. but it's indeed a v different day. though tired but fun.
