About 1 years plus ago, my parents got the Diamond Drinking Water Purification System on monthly installment for 2 years at $70 per month.
During the start, my dad had been paying for the credit card bill via his atm card. But as he did not want to have the atm card with him in case he keep using the money, he passed the card to me to safe keep. Since then, I can't possibly don't get money from him and just keep paying from his balance. It would eventually hit the minimum amount for the account and the bank will deduct $2 per month. $2 per month can be alot. Plus, I also can't manage to open my mouth to get $$ from my dad when I am already working. Therefore, since I safe-keep his atm card, I started paying for the bill.
Recently, they bought the filters and the sales-personnel came up to teach my mum how to change. The sale-personnel introduce my mum the shower system which they called Diamond Spa. The actually selling price is $1k++ but since we already got the drinking water system, we are entitle the promotion price which is $900+ (I think it's almost half of the usual price).
But still is there such a need to get it? It's almost $1k. Can't my parents save up the money? So I reject the idea of fixing one. Yet, yesterday, my mum told me that there will be people coming to fix the Diamond Spa System in our house today! I almost fainted when I heard that.
Somemore, I heard that after the Friendship meeting, after dinner with them, after we got back from NTUC, when I am tired, when I need to had my shower to wash my hair (esp when there are gliter and color on my hair) as early as possible so that my hair will be dry when I want to sleep, when it had been a spoilter when I can't catch up with my friends, Shudi and Meiying, when I saw them again at BP Plaza as I had to have dinner with my parents. It's just not right!!! Argh...
Somemore, if I further my studies, I would not be giving them any more $$, plus they would have to pay for all other bills that I had been paying for them, plus I do not have enough $$ for myself. How can they always do things so recklessly? Why can't they think of the consequences? Why am I the one always worrying about the finance of the whole family? And they know I got intention to further my studies, they know I do not have enough $$... And they had been hoping that I would further my studies... I am going CRAZY due to this issue... Why??? Why??? Why they are still like that? WHY????

Bt Panjang Zone Friendship Meeting
Yesterday afternoon was the Bt Panjang Zone Friendship Meeting. The event starts at 4pm but we were told to gather at 1pm. We did our evening gongyo together at 1.30pm to 1.45pm and after which, we had another rounds of rehearsal.
We have got videos, songs, testimonials, more songs and dance. The item which I participate in is the dance item. We have got a total of around 50 people of which about 20% are primary division kids.
As the dance item is the final item for the day, thus, while waiting for our turn to rehearse, the I/Cs spray glitters and colours on the dancers' hair. As I need to go to BP Plaza later on, I was hoping that I need not spray my hair and delay the spraying till after the rehearsal, after I change into the navy blue colour tee-shirt which they got for all of us. Very nice of them but many of us don't like the collar as it is pretty small (that explain why I didn't wear from home).
After the rehearsal which I screwed by some of the dance steps, we had our tea-break. I only change into my tee-shirt then. They even started taking photographs then. I didn't bring my handphone along so could not take photos with some of the friends I made there. So sad!
Guess what, it seemed that the primary school kids already got their own handphones. Wow! 1 even use her handphone to take photos. OMG! And if I not wrong, the youngest with handphone is just a primary 2 girl.
After the tea-break, we went up and get seated. It was only then which I went to had my hair sprayed but as the spray is running low, I had little spray on my hair so I suppose I was quite lucky ba. ;p
The show start early with a video and went on quite smoothly. During the show, I saw a leader cum friend, Shudi, and her friend who I also know, Meiying. So I sms Meiying. As we were swaying in wave to the beat of the songs and I was trying to sms her at that time, I want to tell her that I am at her right (meaning they are at my left). In the end, I sms the opposite so when I saw that she was looking at the opposite direction, I was like, 'oops, sms wrong direction' and I sms her again. lol
After the whole show, went to chat a short while with Shudi and Meiying and saw 1 senior there as well. Soon was asked to gather in front so never catch up much with Shudi and Meiying. So sad! The last time we meet up was almost or at least a year ago. *sign*
While gathering in front, Joe gave us some words of encouragement and he announced that they will organize a BBQ session for all of us. So I suppose it's not that bad. I'll still get to meet up those friends I made there ba. ;p Especially when I could not stay long after this event as my parents wants me to go BP Plaza with them for dinner and get rice. Meaning, I would have to rush off which is like a spoilter. It's always like that.
Then, Danny, the main I/C for the dance item gave us words of encouragement also and thanks us for all our effort. He even told us about Hong Kai, the youngest boy in the group who is just in kindergarden. From what I saw during those training, he was a very naughty boy who don't listen to instruction, don't listen to anybody, always kicking his sister or whoever who try to grab him, also does not listen to his mother. Danny told us that because on the final training he was so naughty, naughty to the max, that the mother decided not to let him continue in the item. But when he got home, he knelt in front of the Gohonzon, begging his mother to give him 1 more chance. When I heard that I can felt my eyes getting wet but manage to control back emotion but it was so touching.
Danny also told us about Mac, apparently is his nephew (only know when he say so). Just 1 or 2 day before the show yesterday, Mac was unwell, I do not know what exactly was wrong but Danny said that he could not even walk. But still he came yesterday and manage to complete the dance. Oh ya. Mac was the choroegraher for the final 8 eights of the dance.
Elvee, the main choreographer, my leader, a friend, a sister in Sunflower dance group, thanks all of us. While saying so, she could not control her tears. Her tears of joy that all of us make it. She told us that during this whole training, she had fallen ill and had not recovered and yet we manage to get through. She also told us that Yi'en, who had also fallen ill, also help to get the tee-shirt for all of us by herself and asked us to give her a round of applause. But certain things is not just as simple as a round of applause. And there is a Secondary School girl, Weiting having her birthday yesterday. So Elvee also lead us to sing her an english version and a chinese version of Birthday song. I guess, because the event had ended plus, we all sang her the birthday song, Weiting cried also.
Even though I controlled my emotion, but I can understand how these people are feeling. It like the 1st time I joined a dance item for the Youth Cultural Festival in July 2005 and also the Sunflower concert - Mirror of Life - in September 2006 when I was struggling both physically and mentally then. Even till now, when I think of yesterday event and the past events, 我的心还是有酸酸, 想哭的感觉.

It's coming eventually
I knew that this day will eventually come since the day my mum brought Ryu home.
This morning, my mum told me that on the 24th of June, after going to grandma's house to eat, we'll go over to my aunt's place and wait for my dad there. Then, we'll bring both Shiro and Ryu to my house. In case you are wondering who they are... They are my aunt's dogs - Samoyed breed.
That is because my aunt need to go overseas for conference or training and her husband is also not in Singapore at that time.
Previously, my aunt want to go overseas holidaying and to look for her husband and suggested that we go over to her house to stay and look after Shiro (that time they haven't get Ryu). But staying at their house just doesn't seemed right. And bring the dog to my house also not right. The dog's fur is so long and my place is so hot and the fur will be flying around the place and etc.
But after my mum decided to help dog sitting Ryu that day, I knew this day will come eventually.
My aunt just need us to stay with the dogs for a night as her friend will went over to look after the dogs the following day till my aunt come back? And now my mum decide to bring them home. If there is this one more time, in near future, there will be more to come. I really don't know what my mum is thinking. *sign*

烦恼
烦恼可以作为跳板，让我们体会更深的幸福。
从佛法上来看，一切不好的经验都蕴含与好的一面。
可是，如果被苦恼所败，而抱持的只是自哀自怜，
怨天尤人等消极态度的话，[毒]将依旧是[毒]。
最近想了许多。好像发现我被许多没必要的事与物纠缠着。也许是我自己在钻牛角尖，想太多了吧。很多事可能没我想的那么糟。应该是自己想太多，想太远，在吓自己吧。想想，没尝试又怎么知道不行呢？不去尝试就不会成长。所以，应该勇于面对，勇于挑战一切而不退缩吧。不过，像我一样的人总是会加多两个字：‘可是’。
Dinner with 2 of the Lings
Yesterday evening, met up with 2 of the Lings. The other Ling can't make it due to boyfriend's birthday. So sad. It'd been months since the four of us gather together.
Other than dinner, we did nothing else except chit chat to catch up. But it had been an enjoyable evening!
Hope we'll meet up soon... Erm... tentatively said to be on Labour Day and a few swimming sessions in 2 or 3 Saturdays in May. *looking forward*

Dengue?
I just msn Ling2. I wanted to check with her if she is free on labour day to go out together. Yet, I almost forgot to ask her after she told me that her whole family is sick except her brother.
She said it might be virus flu. It was the third day of fever for her mum. Not sure about her dad and her. And she was worried it's caused by dengue fever.
3 person down with dengue? I don't know. She also told me that her boyfriend's dad got dengue before and had been in danger as the blood platelets count was almost none. OMG!
In year 2004, my dad got dengue and was admitted to hospital. And last year, I got it myself (a minor case - kind of recovered in less than 10 days without hospitalization). So I kind of know the feel. I can only chant and send prayers for them to have strong life force to recover asap. *praying* *praying*

Ryu - 1st time to my house
Yesterday, brought the dishwashing liquid to my 小姨姨's house cause my mum help her buy. She wasn't home when we reached there. She brought Shiro for lesson leaving Ryu home with her husband.
Her husband was going to fly off in a few hours so he just jokingly asked if we could bring Ryu home and later asked my 小姨姨 to fetch him home. Well, I kind of don't like the idea. You know... once there is a first time, there will be many more times. Plus... the fur, saliva, etc will make the house into a mess which is what my mum had been saying.
And my mum used excuse that it's going to rain and there isn't space in the lorry's 'head'. After getting back to the lorry. My mum was still thinking about Ryu coming to my house. And she told my dad about it and my dad can't refused my mum so he just merely said it's up to my mum and there goes...
My mum asked me to go up again to fetch Ryu down. *shake head*
Well, I can only say Ryu was quite well-behaved in my house. Maybe becaused that was the first time to my house. He just moved around and find a spot to rest but he seemed quite bored. But he was kind of cute. He will search for spots with 'legs' like under the table to sleep there. Even sliding under my dad's leg to sleep.
Around 6pm, Ryu started to act strange. Guess he missed his 'sister'. He keep going to the door and looked out so I brought him out for a walk.
Soon after we got back, 小姨姨 brought Shiro over. Both Shiro and Ryu were so happy to see each other that they jumped and follow each other around the place. So cute.
It may be cute to have them around. But after they had left, they also left traces of saliva and fur everywhere, on the floor, on you, etc...
At first I want to take a shower after I got home. In the end, I only had my shower after they went back.
And I know even though this is just a few hours of dog-sitting, eventually, there will be time when my house is not only a child-care center. It will going to be a dog-care center too.
Insect Bite
I hate insect bite. It is so itchy. And it had been more that a week and the itch doesn't seemed to go away.
On Good Friday, went 扫墓 with my parents, grandmother and a few other relatives. I got the insect bite there. I didn't even get to see what insect bited me. I just felt the sharp pain then, just below the stripe of my slipper.
Till now, it was like 10 days already and yet it is still red, swollen and itchy. In fact, I think it's more red and swollen than that starting. *sign*
When can it go off?
On Good Friday, went 扫墓 with my parents, grandmother and a few other relatives. I got the insect bite there. I didn't even get to see what insect bited me. I just felt the sharp pain then, just below the stripe of my slipper.

Bruised Thumb
Yesterday after changing the flat tire, my dad drove us to the nearby coffeeshop to have our very late breakfast cum lunch.
As there is no free carpark lot, my dad asked us to alight and find seats. When I was sliding my butt out of the lorry, I accidently knock onto the back support cushion which dropped out while I was slamming the door close.
My reflects then was to see what had dropped on the floor and wanted to pick it up. Yet... I forgot that my left hand were still on the door when I slammed the door closed. I almost screamed out in pain when the door slammed closed.
As there is a car which is coming out from the carpark lot, I had to forget about my pain and grabbed the cushion and get it in the lorry before my dad started to drive off. It's only after that that I saw bruises on my thumb. I tried moving my thumb then but it was kind of numb from the pain.
I felt so dumb then actually. How can I forget that my hand is still on the door?

Flat Tire

My dad thought he could drive to the nearby petrol kiosk to pump air but it doesn't seem so...
He haven't even drive halfway out of the carpark, and he decided to turn into a carpark lot that is under the shade to change the tire.
I stayed around to see what I can help. Well, I can't help much. Just help to take some stuffs when my dad's hands are full.
As for my mum, she helped by going home to get spare clothes and towel for my dad and bring some water for us to wash our hands.
Guess what... my dad actually said that the tire had been 'leaky' recently but he just didn't go and get it fixed back. I kind of know about it but I didn't know it can be that bad caused he had been going to petrol kiosk to pump air into the tire.

Youth Friendship Meeting Training for Mass Dance
Despite the fact that last week Elvee informed all dancers that full attendance is required, yet due to commitment to school, work and etc, not many people came. Thus, in the end she could not appoint the final position for all.
As to last week name list, there are near 50 people in this items. And yesterday, a few more came. I was called out to teach 3 female new comers and they learn pretty fast. 1 of which came before but don't know why she don't know the steps. Another girl was sister of a guy who came a few times already. And that time, I also kind of guide her brother when he joined. LOL. Anyway, she already know part of the steps from her brother so it's not so bad.
The challenge is that we are spilt into 2 groups. Left and Right and at certain part, we were dancing different direction. And out of the 3 girls, the youngest, a 10 year old, was at the right side. Different group from me. So I had to challenge my mind to teach her the opposite direction from what I learnt, from what I had been 'training' in my mind. When I tried dancing with her, I kind of keep on screwed up as I was so used to the Left side.
By the time the 3 of them finished learning the 3 sets of 4 groups of 8 plus a chorus sets of 8 groups of 8, the people who had been revising had already learnt the final 8 groups of 8 which I haven't learn. So I could not teach the new comer those steps already.
While the main groups of people are resting, I seek help from an ex-sunflower senior to teach me the new steps and after a few try, I manage to remember the new steps. Yay!!!
So I quickly gather the new girls to teach them the new steps. These final 8 groups of 8 are choreograph by 1 of the new girl's brother. As she seemed to be learning from him, we just gather the other 2 new girls to teach them.
Overall, I really amazed that the new girls manage to learn the steps so fast. Wow! Even though they were standing behind. They manage to catch up with the rest when the song start. Furthermore the song is pretty fast.

Weird Dream
Last night, I had a weird dream again.
It's seemed pretty related to a weird dream I had before. It's linked with worms...
Well, the dream is so real. So real that I can even thought I'll have nightmare in my dream.
I dreamt I was at the corridor, watering the plants as usual. It was night time then, which is quite normal time to water the plants as I water them twice a day.
Then I saw small earthworms. (I had seen a few of tiny ones for a few days last 2 weeks in 1 of the pot of plants; and a huge one last Saturday at a void deck while on my way home from piano lesson.)
Then I don't know why. I saw bigger earthworms. Not just one. It's quite a few of them. And they seemed mutated or something. They are white in colour and looked pretty scary. I can also see them curling on the plants. I kind of scream for my mum and even though she said it's just earthworms. She dare not catch too. In the end, the auntie next door assured us that she'll ask her husband to help us.
The uncle did help clear the worms. But the weird thing is, as he clear one, he'll dump them down. Meaning, he just throw them out as he catch one. And I don't know when my mum hold on to 3 of the worms. the worms are so huge that she could only hugged onto to them. Only hugged 3 worms in her arms. And the worms look like they got snake head.
After the finally cleared, we thanked him and now, I saw a millipede crawling on the soil. OMG!!! That is when I thought in my dream that I am going to have a nightmare that could be related to worms or snake.
And then I thought I saw snake skin. The first snake skin is white and seemed pretty dried but as it is still not right to have dry snake skin coming out of the soil, I took a careful and detailed look at the another pot beside that 'dried snake skin' and saw a black snake curling and resting on the soil. I wanted to push the snake out and let it dropped downstairs but at the same time worried that it might bite as it seemed to be a poisonous breed.
This time, the snake skin moved. Argh.... It's just a snake skin. It another breed of snake. This snake is white in colour. Not as big size as the black snake. It looked poisonous too. I was scared yet puzzled at the same time as to how can snakes get to the pots of plants at my corridor. It's not like I'm staying at lower ground level. I'm staying at level 9.
Guess what, my neighbour still said the snakes are there and will bring good luck. And said that as long as we don't disturb either of them, they won't bite. How can that be? What if they go hungry?
So even though I am scared of the snakes, I did try to water the plants and the snakes kind of just ignore me but there is still fear in me that cause me to jump back the moment I pour water in the 2 pots which the snake is 'staying'.
It was still so real than that I was hoping so hard that all that was just a dream.
When I eventually did wake up, I can still feel the creepy-ness in me. The creepy crawly creatures are still in my mind. And I do not understand why I had that dream when it's been a few days since I last saw the earthworms. Furthermore, yesterday been a tired yet quite a happy day for me after my dance training for the Youth Friendship Meeting. Yet, I had this weird dreams about earthworms, mutated earthworms, snake-like earthworms, millipede and snakes.
Makes me so tired now after all the 'excitement' in my dream.
It's seemed pretty related to a weird dream I had before. It's linked with worms...
Well, the dream is so real. So real that I can even thought I'll have nightmare in my dream.
I dreamt I was at the corridor, watering the plants as usual. It was night time then, which is quite normal time to water the plants as I water them twice a day.

Pondering over getting a Degree
Yesterday after lunch, while chatting, I asked WY a question which in the end kept me pondering over the night again. A question which I had been asking myself. A question which my friends asked me before too. A question which a senior in faith asked me before when she 'home-visited' me beginning of the year. A question which I thought I already got the answer or I thought I ought to have the answer already. *sign*
That question was, 'What you want to achieve from a Degree qualification?'
With just that 1 question, many other questions start popping out in my head.
Why do I want to get a Degree? And that question linked to many other questions ...
Is it just to get a Degree for the sake of getting one?
Is it because my parents been bugging me to get a Degree? - I supposed they are the part of the reason... -
Is it to get higher pay? - Yes -
Is it to find more challenging work?
Do I really want to continue the same field of study with the fact that I do not like research-related work?
What else can I work as other than job related to research if I continue in this field?
What other courses can I further with the fact that I am ONLY good in Maths? In fact, I kind of like Maths. I am just average in Science-related subjects and sucks in languages, esp English, and sucks in critical thinking skills.
What can I work as after getting that Degree?
What else can I do other than getting that Degree?
WHAT DO I ACTUALLY WANT?
I really don't understand myself. I don't even know what I want. These are the questions which I had been asking myself for years and yet I still don't have an answer. *sign*
Well, I suppose I just have to give myself a bit more time to sort our my thought for now ba. *sign*

Opposite of See No Evil, Hear No Evil & Speak No Evil
People usually say, ' See no evil; Hear no evil; & Speak no evil. But today, I encounter the opposite.
1. [Hear]
A guy called and asked for my colleague who wasn't around. Didn't want to listen to me and just continue firing non-stop when I wasn't even her. Told him to wait at the room but he wasn't there when I reach. He just left the rotor on the cabinet.
2. [See]
Saw a guy peeing in the handicapped toilet without closing the door.
