非常敬佩他可心情感决好沉。希望他走好。

Just now while working, I received a sms from my dad which state, 'The driver dead'. Upon receiving and seeing such a shocking message, I felt puzzled and yet scared by such message so I called my dad.

Upon explanation, it was a uncle (a container driver) whom my dad knew. Think his name or nickname was 'Ah Kao'. He was from a different company as my dad but due to business co-operation of both companies, my dad had worked with him before. Apparently, he passed away in his lorry. The lorry which we passed by when my dad drove me to work. As my dad was having hair cut when I called, he didn't explain further and my heart sunk thereafter.

I was wondering then in my mind on when he passed away and if my dad tried to honk to catch his attention (what my dad might do) and stopped, maybe he might be still alived then and he might not have died.

After work, I dare not asked my dad further after I knocked off when he went to pick me up as my colleague followed me as she stayed near me. Didn't want to spoilt her mood upon hearing such news yet my dad brought the topic out.

When he drove back after sending me to work, my dad found out from his colleague that the lorry was there since 3+pm when my dad's colleague passed by it. And my dad found out that there were people were for Ah Kao. Thus, my dad wanted to go and check out.

When my dad went back and passed by the place in the opposite direction, he saw another lorry behind plus ambulance and police car. My dad knew the other lorry driver too but that driver do not know the Ah Kao personally. According to him, he was wondering why the lorry stopped for so long and decided to check out and found that the driver did not seemed right so he called the police only to find out that Ah Kao had passed away.

My dad said he suspected a heart attack might have happened to the uncle. Thus, I was amazed that the lorry was stopped neatly at the side of the road without any trace of damage. My colleague said he might felt not right and stopped at the side to rest yet passed away but my dad said he saw the uncle as the police left the driver's door open. The uncle had his foot on the brake pedal
and he had fallen forward with his tummy on the stirring wheel.

Thus, it seemed that despite the fact the this uncle was unwell, he still tried to stop the lorry. For this, I really wish to salute to him. During situation of heart attack or so, he might not have time to think on what to do. Even if he had time, he could have grab the walkie-talkie and press any key to radio anyone to get help yet he managed to stop the big lorry at the side of the road while no one know where he was and no accident was caused.

非常敬佩他可心情感决好沉。Even knowing that he had passed away hours ago does not help to lighten my heavy heart. 希望他走好。
