Xmas with Your Dogs Event at Kembangan
As my leg wasn't quite right, while walking to the park, quite a walk (10 minutes?), I felt slight pain again. I brought my pain killer (the stronger kind) so I pop 2 in. I had no choice le as I am supposed to be dancing with 7 other girls. I did not strain myself there. Didn't warm up properly especially when comes to the leg exercises. Had marked through and we realized the stage is very hollow.' After which, we (LV and I) found out that they were just tables placed together and we decided not to let the others know.
I managed to get through the dance, not perfect but I can say I did my best. I gave my best shot and had thrown my worries about my leg away. After the dance, we watched the obedience show put up by a few of the dogs that were retired from the competition. There were also competition on which dogs will finish the food the fastest.
Before these competition, I had been going around with my camera phone, snapping photos here and there. Some of the dogs are in X'mas outfit. So adorable.
After all these photo taking, we were gathered back. Had a short warm-up session lead by ah Na and even another dance for our own group but I did not do especially those that need leg movement caused after the performance, after all the walking around and bending down to snap photos, my leg hurt again.
We had a game after that. Actually, should be 2 types of games. We were split into 4 groups each with a group of 6 girls.
1. Draw an object named on a drawing block with a marker without using our hands. We were given 6 strings. We had to tie our string to the marker and hold the other end of the string and used the marker to draw. 1st we were told to draw a circle which we didn't quite draw well. Very challenging. 2nd, a 5 edges star which we did pretty well. 3rd, a flower with 5 pedals. 4th, write the word 'Sunflower'. And the winner is my group. Yeah!
2. Each group send a representative. My group used scissors, paper, stone to decide who go out and I lost so I went out. We were told to face our group members whom would be shown a simple picture where they will describe to us and we would have to draw base on what info we got. It was so noisy that it was so difficult to figure out what my groups were saying. And I started to lag. At 1st I panick a bit but in the end, I keep asking for details like are the trees closed by sticking to each other, like are the 6 stones of the stone path from the door of the house all in a line or are they in twos, like where are the sun, where is the kite, how is the ribbon on the kite like, etc. I kept asking till a friend from the other group asked why I asked so many question. Why need to be so detailed? In the end, my picture was the most closest to the original artwork. LOL!
At the end of the games, we were asked for the moral of the games. Well, for the 1st game, most conclude that teamwork are important and each individual plays an important and yet different role. For the 2nd game, communication was the conclusion. We were asked for more and out of a sudden, I blurt out 'asking questions'. It became clear to me at that instance due to the game that I realized that when I am unclear, I must asked like I did in the game and used that at Sunflower or at school. Ah Kheng then told all of us that we must also take in mind all the details around us.
After the game, we had our makan! Our ex-chief maded us each a bowl of the Japanese cold noodle in the sauce which is very nice. There were otah, Old Chang Kee's Curry puffs, sandwiches, salad, fried bee hoon, drinks, and even ice creams.
Even though it was tiring, but I did enjoyed myself there.

Friend's Wedding
She was a friend whom had been my Poly coursemate cum my ex-colleague. Since I left the workplace for studies, she had been helping me. And these ex-colleagues aka friends never forget about me which is something I am very grateful about. Thus, whenever possible, I would be going to have lunch with them, to meet up with them, etc.
Well, Cecilia had also worried for my pocket & thus, decided to invite me to her Church Wedding in the morning only. As there was last minute vacancy, she asked if I could go for the dinner too. She keep telling me that I need not gave a big Ang Bao. LOL!
Anyway, as I had said, I managed to get someone to replace me for my part time work shift this evening so that I could go for the dinner.
This morning, met 3 other friends to go to the Church Wedding Ceremony. Met 2 of them at Lakeside MRT station and the other outside the Church.
Evening, met 6 friends at Tiong Bahru MRT station. We took 2 cabs from there to the restaurant. Actually, should have taken the 2nd cab which MH, YL and I took as it was a 7 seaters.
As usual, YL brought his camera along so he became the photographer for our group. Well, the rest of us did take photos but our camera not as pro as YL. Thus, I won't be uploading any photos here.
At the dinner, I had my 1st sip on the red wine. Shared it with WY as I am not confident that I would like the taste. I never drank before except a few years ago with my poly friends. That time also shared with a friend. Anyway, it's drinkable but still I am not used to the taste.
SN suggested to mix drink and get the couple to drink. YL became the 'bang xiong'. He ordered 2 red wine and a beer. He wanted to order another drink but they don't have. YL mixed the 2 drinks together. When the couple came, Cecilia was sharped enough to detect something was not right especially when MH took away their glasses of red wine. CT was so sporting that without much persuading, he took the glass of mixed drink. Both the couple really drank after our pretty loud 'Yum Seng' when 70% of our table were girls (maybe I should say lady).
After that, I took a sip to taste the mixed drink. Was almost like the red wine. Maybe just a little more diluted. Anyway, the couple were spared as SN actually wanted to add vinegar too and even chilli sauce. Oops!
After the dinner, we were the last group to leave. We stayed a little while to snap a few photos. They even made the couple kiss. Long kiss and made CT carried his princess. I got these on my HP as I took video of it. LOL.
I just looked back at my very old old blog from another place and realized that the last time I taste an alcoholic drink was 4 years ago on Christmas day and I do not like the taste and do not wished to try again. This time, was I wanted to try the taste. (-.-)''' Anyway, I would not drink as I am still not used to the taste. Taking a sip to taste maybe but not drink ba.
Enough for now. I had to go to bed. Need to wake up super early later as I had to get ready and reach Kebangan MRT by 8.15am. Got to put slight make-up and tie up my hair as there is a performance there.
I hope my ligament problem would go off by the time I woke up. Even though it not that serious, it came back on Tuesday afternoon. When I walk too much, the sharp pain would come back. Actually it makes me really wonder. Wonder if I should really continue the dance thingy. I do feel my leg not like before. I do not dare to stretch it, I am afraid I would strain it, etc. I can't cross my right leg over my left leg and bend it so much even when it was alright. *Sigh* Anyway, I'll pray and chant that I would be able to clear at least the performance for tomorrow. Will decide then ba.

3 Weird Guys
As I took much longer than expected, I was kind of late. As I had promised my mum that we would go for dinner together at Lot One as my cousins want to watch the performance at 7pm. Thus, I decided to take a cab home but there is no cab around in school. Thus, I took the bus out to the interchange then wait for a cab along the road.
The uncle asked why I was waiting there. And he keep chatting with me, etc. He said he also told his son to work before going to University. He said that it will help to know how the work life is like, etc.
I don't know why. He said that he wanted to advice me something. He said he taught his 3 daughters that they could go out and date with guys since they were like in 15 or 16 years old. He said they do not need to put in their feeling. Just go out and see the world and that each guys if very different. He keep talking and talking and said that even if break up, also need not be upset just because of a guy.
He said that when his kids were still young, no matter how tired he is after work, he would play with his kids. The more he said, the 'weirder' it get. He said that some fathers won't play with their kids especially daughter so when the daughter slowly grow up, will be distant from the father and when the daughter by accident (somehow) hugged the father or something like that, the father will feel weird, tense, paiseh, etc due to the daughter's breast. (-.-)''' He said that his 3 daughters had been married and even they got home, they would hug him for at least a few minutes (sound exaggerating to me). He said that it's normal.
He even said that he taught his daughters that even though they were married, they need not worry so much about their husbands. He taught them to said that their husband can go outside and play. But in a night, the husband can at most 'play' with 3 girls as they need to use strength but for the girls, they need not use strength so they could 'play' with more guys. (-.-)''' Luckily I reached my destination. I do not want to listen somemore.
This uncle was also not concentration when he was driving. I told him to drive straight after turning right after exiting from the expressway. He keep wanting to turn left. After I paid him, he asked if I want some 'ang ku kueh' which he bought from somewhere famous. He even said he was knocking off. (-.-)'''
On Wednesday, on my way to Tampines for my dance training, in the crowded MRT, there is an uncle who squeeze in. As it was very cramp, there is nothing for him to hold to balance himself. I was standing at the side of the door. He placed his hand just beside my shoulder and his arm was pretty near where it shouldn't be. As I was already crossing my arms, I had to shift it higher to block myself.
On the journey home with my friends, a friend was talking about her company function and that her group had to dance and that while dancing her tube dress slight lower and lower (not to the extend of revealing what it shouldn't. But my friend was so shocked but managed to pull up when she had the chance. We were chatting in half chinese and half english and the uncle who sat beside her kept looking at us.
My friend also realized that there is a guy with his friend who seemed to be taking photos with his camera phone. The phone screen was reflected in the window behind the guy which is why my friend saw but we do not know what the guy is taking as there were a few other people sitting at our row of seats (females too). So just within 2 days, met 3 weird guys.

Going school
At my 2nd last paper, my friend told me that we could download the past years papers at home too. I tried after my final paper and it is true. So I do not need to go to school. If I go just for the bus fee, I had to stone till lunch time or I would leave school once I reach. That is crazy. Thus, I decided to go another day to meet my friends for lunch. Sorry girls! We'll meet another time for lunch ok!
Previously, she asked me to her Church wedding ceremony worrying that I might burn my pocket. As there is vacancy, she asked me if I am free. Well, thanks Girl for thinking for my pocket. Don't worry so much ok! Just enjoy your big BIG day!
I am suppose to be working. I am working every Saturday and Sunday. Previously, I thought it should be ok. But then I stated to doubt if I am pushing myself too much. This is because, I simply had no rest. Had to 'chiong' especially during semester time which is quite tiring. Before exam, I had thought of what I wanted to do, yet now, I still had no mood to really do what I want especially to practice my piano.
I had made a budget plan on the estimated expenditure for my 4 years of studies. I plan more just in case and I am short of about $150 per month. For this few months, I had spend like a quarter to a third less than what I planned which is a good thing. Thus, most likely, I would not work for full 4 years. Maybe worked till end of year 2. Because of work, I had to give up certain things like the extra hours to rest, to study, to meet my friends, to stay with my family, and etc. It won't be easy for this 2 years but I had to hang on. I must also continue to spend as less as possible (on myself) so that I can quit the work and focus on my final 2 years of studies.
Well, due to work and my friend's wedding dinner is on a Saturday, I could not confirm as I had to find someone to replace me. Something pretty hard as I only know a few people. Sms a colleague (L) whom I never seen before but she had a Christmas dinner to attend. Sms another colleague (KY) and yet till now she never reply. Ask another colleague (Auntie S) whom I know yet she don't want Saturday. I really could not be so thick skinned to ask other colleagues whom I do not know. Thus, I asked another ex-colleague (J) whom I know but she could not make it. Well, as I was hoping to take a break from work, etc, I was hoping I could go for the dinner. I asked another ex-colleague (YJ) (my last attempt) and her reply was 'Should be ok' and I confirmed with her again and she said that it's alright as she does not have attachment that week. Thanks YJ!
Well, on 23rd December (Sunday), I am going for a day trip to Desaru. Thus, I won't be able to make it to work that evening. I also had been wondering what to do. Had asked a new colleague (AL) who worked on Friday and Saturday to swap with her for her Friday slot. We mutually agreed that if we are not free on Friday (for AL) and on Sunday (for me), we could swap with each other whenever possible. She said she need to check her exam timetable. Yet on Saturday, when I asked her, she could not confirm yet. According to another colleague (JW), only on 1 December then AL told JW that she could not help JW on 2 December. I do not wish that to happen to me so I asked Auntie S. Luckily she only work 2 of the Sunday of this month and they are on starting of the month and end of the month. Somemore, when my dad drove me home, my dad would also drive her back aftere I asked my dad as we stayed pretty nearby. So I guess that help when I asked if she could help me with my slot.
Thus, both days were suppose to be settled. No. I must be convicted that both days were settled. ;p Hee!
