Friend's Wedding

Today was my friend's wedding (should be consider as yesterday even though it ended minutes ago).

She was a friend whom had been my Poly coursemate cum my ex-colleague. Since I left the workplace for studies, she had been helping me. And these ex-colleagues aka friends never forget about me which is something I am very grateful about. Thus, whenever possible, I would be going to have lunch with them, to meet up with them, etc.

Well, Cecilia had also worried for my pocket & thus, decided to invite me to her Church Wedding in the morning only. As there was last minute vacancy, she asked if I could go for the dinner too. She keep telling me that I need not gave a big Ang Bao. LOL!

Anyway, as I had said, I managed to get someone to replace me for my part time work shift this evening so that I could go for the dinner.

This morning, met 3 other friends to go to the Church Wedding Ceremony. Met 2 of them at Lakeside MRT station and the other outside the Church.

Evening, met 6 friends at Tiong Bahru MRT station. We took 2 cabs from there to the restaurant. Actually, should have taken the 2nd cab which MH, YL and I took as it was a 7 seaters.

As usual, YL brought his camera along so he became the photographer for our group. Well, the rest of us did take photos but our camera not as pro as YL. Thus, I won't be uploading any photos here.

At the dinner, I had my 1st sip on the red wine. Shared it with WY as I am not confident that I would like the taste. I never drank before except a few years ago with my poly friends. That time also shared with a friend. Anyway, it's drinkable but still I am not used to the taste.

SN suggested to mix drink and get the couple to drink. YL became the 'bang xiong'. He ordered 2 red wine and a beer. He wanted to order another drink but they don't have. YL mixed the 2 drinks together. When the couple came, Cecilia was sharped enough to detect something was not right especially when MH took away their glasses of red wine. CT was so sporting that without much persuading, he took the glass of mixed drink. Both the couple really drank after our pretty loud 'Yum Seng' when 70% of our table were girls (maybe I should say lady).

After that, I took a sip to taste the mixed drink. Was almost like the red wine. Maybe just a little more diluted. Anyway, the couple were spared as SN actually wanted to add vinegar too and even chilli sauce. Oops!

After the dinner, we were the last group to leave. We stayed a little while to snap a few photos. They even made the couple kiss. Long kiss and made CT carried his princess. I got these on my HP as I took video of it. LOL.

I just looked back at my very old old blog from another place and realized that the last time I taste an alcoholic drink was 4 years ago on Christmas day and I do not like the taste and do not wished to try again. This time, was I wanted to try the taste. (-.-)''' Anyway, I would not drink as I am still not used to the taste. Taking a sip to taste maybe but not drink ba.

Enough for now. I had to go to bed. Need to wake up super early later as I had to get ready and reach Kebangan MRT by 8.15am. Got to put slight make-up and tie up my hair as there is a performance there.

I hope my ligament problem would go off by the time I woke up. Even though it not that serious, it came back on Tuesday afternoon. When I walk too much, the sharp pain would come back. Actually it makes me really wonder. Wonder if I should really continue the dance thingy. I do feel my leg not like before. I do not dare to stretch it, I am afraid I would strain it, etc. I can't cross my right leg over my left leg and bend it so much even when it was alright. *Sigh* Anyway, I'll pray and chant that I would be able to clear at least the performance for tomorrow. Will decide then ba.
