Broken glasses

This 2 pieces of broken glasses are found under the TV cabinet in my bedroom. I only saw it yesterday and so it had been there since Tuesday.

On Tuesday, she volunteered to clean my room and I allow her. She broke a small piece of glass soon after and after a while, she came out and told me about it. I was in the living room and stayed there even after I heard the glass dropped on the floor. Was wondering if she would admit or denied. Well, she did so I just told her to throw away.

Yesterday, when I wanted to throw some rubbish in the bin that was in my room, I saw the broken glass there. I was pretty mad about this as this is a safety issue. My cousins do use my rubbish bin. What if they got cut? Anyway, nothing of such happened.

Since the broken glasses are still around, I decided to piece them up to draw the shape of the glass so that I can find and cut a piece of cardboard to replace the broken glass and found that there is at least a piece missing. Thus, I went to look under the TV cabinet and saw 2 pieces there which matches the missing portion.

I snapped the photo and send to my aunt since she is sending her back today. Can show the agency all these proof that we gathered.

If you said she slow, she stupid, I think she is just acting. Imagine today, my aunt wanted to bring her back. No one told her that she is going back to the agency. My aunt just told her that she is going out. Asked her to change. And they took bus to the agency.

She does recognise the place and even before reaching the bus stop, she already stood up when my aunt was still sitting down and didn't say anything. Maybe her previous employer did the same thing too.

Anyway, I am glad she is gone. Even the 2 elder cousins were happy that she is gone. LOL!

cleared 1/2 of my papers

currently having my examinations after leaving school for 4 years. have 4 papers this semester.

HE191 Principles of Economics (14 November 2007 - 5 to 7.30 pm)
BS103 Organic Chemistry (15 November 2007 - 1 to 3.30 pm)
BS101 Introductory to Biology (19 November 2007 - 1 to 3.30 pm)
BS104 Biochemistry I - Biomolecules (26 November 2007 - 1 to 3.30pm)

today was already 17 November. thus, i had cleared 2 papers. that would mean that i am halfway through. yet i'm pretty much drained. especially after my 1st paper. it was a killer paper.

on my way to school for my 1st paper, i suddenly had a terrible headache in the bus. s i was like unwell the week before (had infected right tonsil with 2 white spots), i had my medication (of course without antibiotic as i had finished it and my tonsil was ok already) with me. i pop a panadol (didn't want to take too many then), yet the headache did not go away even till before i went into the exam hall. but i guess after being stunned by the 1st question, i totally don't have the extra time or energy to bother about my headache. i'm already dead at the 1st question. omg!

i had looked through the past year paper which i thought those were easier. i should have heel my friend's advice who went for the last lecture on another day. the lecturer told them to pass messages to tell all students to try not to look at the past year papers as the textbook used are different so the syllabus are different. i went to look through and found that those papers were similar to the tutorials. some tutorial questions were even from the past year papers.
somemore that paper ended so late. thus was super drained and yet had to struggle for the next paper which was the following day.

guess i was too straining on myself. on the day of the 2nd paper, i only took brunch due to the time i had to go to school. on my way to school, i still did last minute mugging in the bus. Guess what. this time i think i kanna motion sickness. after a short while of travelling, i felt bad again. heavy head like feeling giddy, naustic feeling, etc. anyway, it might not be motion sickness. after dinner the night before, i kind of not feeling quite well. i keep burping with the taste of dinner that i ate even till the time i went to bed and fallen asleep. upon reaching the final bus-stop, i was drained again with low energy and feeling awful. i went to the supermarket to grab sweets in case i had low sugar content as i still had the giddy spell. I found a place to sit & rest & drank water slowly & ate the sweet and slowly recovered from the problem. yet after the exam and on the journey home, the problem came back so i guess most likely was the motion sickness problem after all the straining plus feeling hungry.

anyway, after the 2nd paper on thursday, i totally cant study at all for the 3rd paper. even today (yesterday) as it is 12.41 am already now. i don't have the mood to mug. somemore, my mum asked me to go lot1 with her to help my cousin choose storybook as my grandma gave her $10 as she was 3rd in her class. and even after getting home, with my cousin around, it was hard to study. damn... tomorrow (today) also no time to study as i had piano lesson in the afternoon and had to work in the evening. i only got sunday morning and afternoon as i already planned to skip my dance training. but i had to work in the evening too. argh... i need more time!!!

i need to hang in there. i hope i can have the energy to hang on till the end before i collapse. i'm already drained to the extend that i am drunk with tireness again. i keep falling asleep while studying. i cant get my butt out of the bed in the morning. i cant seemed to get my eyes to open. i MUST hang in there till my last paper end. 'JESS, U'RE HALFWAY THROUGH! HANG ON!!!' sorry ah!!! i am just tryin to motivate myself'

think d 1st thing i'll do after my final paper is to sleep & sleep & sleep...

what was written seemed ok. but this research fellow is v funny. this email was send 2 all d people in the sch. it was send to academic staffs, adjunct staffs, research staffs, Ph. D and even d undergrads year 1 to 3. Why send to yr 1 to 3 undergrads? only yr 4 undergrads do attachment & fyp in the research labs ma. why wasn't the email send to the technical staffs?

stupid appraisal

jus tot i came online 2 check my email in case i missed any scheduled date 4 my 'appraisal'. ya! u didn't see wrongly. i had quitted from my job & am studying full time now.

well, tt's cos tt time we missed d appraisal so nw they wanna do s it's a must. s 4 me, since i'm studyin in d same place s whr i worked, they wanted me 2 attend 4 their record purposes. sianz right? well, i got d email notification more than a month ago & had check email a day b4 my exam 2 check on the exam seat & tt was 2 days b4 d appraisal which is 15 nov. yet thr was no other revised notification or rescheduling.

after my second paper which end an hour before the appraisal, i was searchin for a place to study and saw YL. he thought i would be going home and when he knows i am waiting for the appraisal which is another 45 minutes to go, he told me that it had been cancelled. (-.-)''' i tot it was due to the fact that i did not check my email so i went to check and confirm it was cancelled & was told that i would be emailed to inform me the reschedule date. that explain why i am online now. till 2day, i did not received any email notification tt it was cancelled and to be rescheduled or the reschedule date.

1st Music Theory Exam (grade 5)

Just finished my Music Theory Exam. Felt so much relieved after the exam. It was a two hours paper but I finished in an hour including a check-through. Hopefully I do not missed any careless mistakes. Anyway, I believed I can pass the paper.

Spent only some of yesterday time to study and memorized all the Italian, French and German terms and the different signs. Actually, I did not managed to memorize all yesterday as I went to watch 'Getai' with my mum again. Yesterday was host by 'Liew Ling Ling'. .

I went out early today and reach there an hour earlier and stayed at the void deck of Blk 417 (beside Hong Kah Sec Sch) to do my last minute memorization work. Managed to memorize all (sort of with some minor mistakes here and there) after the memorization work in the bus journey and at the void deck by 9.30 am.

Anyway, after doing the past 3 years of past years papers, they only asked Italian Terms. So actually I thought of skipping the French and German terms. But last lesson, the other guy comment that too and our teacher said what if it came out this year or what if it did came out in the previous year which we did not do that past year paper. So I memorized. And today, German terms did came out. I'm glad I studied.

So I walked over into the school. While walking in, I tried to memorize the standard orchestra instruments.

Anyway, after the exam, it feel like a huge stone had been thrown out of my mind. 5 Exams to take this November and 1 is down. Yeah! Now, I must focus on the other 4 papers but only after I settle the two lab reports.

It's her again.

I also wish I can be so 'hao ming'. At that time I had just been drowned due to the Organic Chemistry Tutorial. I was asked to answer a tutorial question which the Prof said it's the basic and very simple YET I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO ANSWER.

Didn't mean to blog. Didn't even plan to come online. Tomorrow got a quiz. Quiz for Principle of Economics. Only finished studying 4 chapters. Die liao la.

My dad brought his thumbdrive home as he could not open some files. It was because he bought a cheap thumbdrive that will auto-compress the files saved. So I had to help him settle the problem as he needs the files for his work. So that's why I am online instead of studying.


Yesterday stayed in school till 4pm due to the Organic Chemistry Quiz. Waited for 10 minutes yet the Prof and the other girl who missed the quiz were no where to be found. Went to find the co-ordinator for the rescheduling of the test but she was not at her desk. Was desperate. Didn't want to miss again due to quiz tomorrow and another next Thursday plus my Music Theory Grade 5 Exam.


Found the Prof's office number but he was not there. Called YL, ex-colleague who was taking the Organic Chemistry Practical at that moment to check if that Prof was there and he was. Went to look for him. He had forgotten. He said that co-ordinator should be in the classroom but I told him that she wasn't. He asked bout the other girl but I do not know her and she was MIA too. He was cracking his head trying to solve the problem. He asked if I wanted to do the test at that time but quickly changed to tell me to email that co-ordinator to reschedule again. *Fainted*


I waited since 10.30 am till 4.15 pm just to hear that the quiz will have to be rescheduled? I asked if I can do then and told him that I had another quiz on Wednesday. He was reluctant as the quiz will take an hour which means it would take 2 hours as the other girl is not around. But he eventually gave in. Asked me to wait at GO while he went back to his office. When he was down, he went to look for the co-ordinator. He still seemed reluctant and asked if I know who the other girl is. Anyway, he finally gave up and asked his student to stay in the classroom while I do my test. He did his own stuffs on his laptop with his back facing me. Only turned back to remind me that I only got 10 minutes left and turned back again when times is up.


After the quiz, I felt I had 1 burden gone but at the same time felt drained. No mood to do tutorials and no mood to study. But I managed to complete the tutorial that would be gone through today while waiting for the staff bus. After which, I did not bother with school stuffs and went to watch 'Getai' with my mum, neighbour, uncle and his wife, daughter and mother-in-law.


It was the 'Getai' which was in the Chinese Newspaper ('wan bao'). The biggest 'Getai' that attracted more than 10,000 people to watch on Sunday.


Yesterday was not a good day. The weather was bad. Keep raining but stopped once in a while. I brought 2 folding umbrellas and my mum brought 4 normal umbrellas and my uncle had another folding umbrella to last us through. Even my dad came to look for us and watch for a while. At slightly after 10 pm, it started to rain heavily so we left for home a short while after my dad left for home.


When I reach, I could not find my uncle and my neighbour. While searching for them, people started running as it started to rain. I took out my umbrella and continue to look for my uncle. As people went away, I managed to grab a seat in front in the second row. I 'booked' another seat for my mum. Quite a while after my mum came, she decided to move to the centre but people said that those seats were booked when nobody was around and there were so many empty seats. So we had to move back. There we found my uncle so we sat with them but the view would be blocked by unbrellas when it rained. Anyway, I managed to snap some shots when it wasn't raining and when there is nice lightings. The stage is big and grand. The lightings were very nice. The sound system was pretty good. And there were bubbles blown from the side of the stage too! WOW!

Look at the bubbles, rays of lights. Oh ya. This lady sang a song related to rain and before she completed the song, it rained heavily at 10+ pm. Coincident or what? Not sure!

As for my Music Theory Lesson, I just have to hang in there till next week. Next week is my last lesson. Yeah!!! I also told my parents. This time got valid reason to tell them. The Grade 6 lessons will be held on Saturday and the time clashed with my piano lesson and my work. So they can't say anything.

Anyway, wished me luck for tomorrow quiz. I don't think I can study now and I don't think I should. I am drunked with drowiness again for the whole of today. Slept through the morning lecture. Hope I can get up early tomorrow to do last minute studying. Yes! It's studying not revising! I need to study another 6 chapters for tomorrow quiz!!! OMG!!!
