Lucky?

After the bomb explosion yesterday, 心情有点沉. Once reach home, immediately kneel in front of the Gohonzon and chanted. Chanted for strength and wisdom on how to continue. Amazingly, just before I went to bed, I realized that actually we could do the 'open house' preparation together. So I wanted to email all but it was late and I was tired.

Thus, this morning, immediately after reaching office, the first thing I did was to send an email to all that we can do the 'open house' together'. Felt better after that.

At 9 plus, I went to lab 1 to start clearing the place with YL and soon Cyn, Nana and Zar came too. We cleared till 11am as we had to meet Dr Kris at the lobby to set up the stuff for the FYP posters.

We had got to set 24 boards for the posters. and the boards were pretty heavy. After shifting the first set out and fixing them up (fix the first two set with Zar), Yiliang, Dr Kris & I went to level 2 to get another 16 sets more down to the lobby. Soon after, I can feel the impact and it's getting hot.

While I was setting another set alone, my friend pass-by the lobby and saw me. He offered his help but as he's going lunch with his friends, I rejected the offer. Even so, as they were waiting for another friend, so he and his friends started helping me. So I wasn't alone.

Was I lucky or was he unlucky? Only bumped into him 2 to 3 times here when he had been working here for quite some time. Yet like the first time I bumped into him, Ah hua and I was suppose to shift the Kodak developer and fixer solution (18 cases each of 16kg) up from the Store and he and his lab people started to help us also. I suppose I am just lucky and he's just the unlucky one.
