Trips to Genting Highlands & KL

Past few days, went Genting Highlands and Kuala Lumpur with my parents, grandmother & the 3 cousins & their parents for 3 days & 2 nights.

Overall, there were mixed feelings throughout the trips. The feeling that occupied the whole journey was triedness. Didn't get a good sleep (1st day sleep in the middle of 2 joined single bed between my grandma & Michelle & kanna pushed by Michelle for a couple of times & 2nd day slept on the couch as the hotel provide 2 separate single beds) & was pretty rush.

Didn't really get a good chance to play (no one of similar age to play with at Genting plus was pretty late so not worth & not fun to play). Never really shop much as it was very rush plus my mum's feet really cannot tahan. So, she kept grumbling. Spoilt mood but can't blame her.

My parents always got rooms with nice view. So I did managed to get a few nice shots out of thousands plus. Yes. I'm the crazy one. Just me alone, got like 1161 shots out of the new FUJIFILM S5800 Digital Camera that my dad bought. His brother's friend working in FUJIFILM & now is GSS so got the camera cheaper. That's why he bought the camera. My dad also took like hundreds plus shot but might not be even half of mine. LOL!

My grandmother was also crazy about photo shots. She always asked me to take photos of her here and there. When she saw that we take photos of certain scenes, etc, she will confirm say, 'Help me take photo.' She so 'kan chiong' that she didn't notice that we just brought out the camera to take the shot without people.

Even though I finally decided to shop instead of sight seeing & taking photos of the places of interest in KL, I was hoping to at least get a snap shot of the KL tower & the Twin Towers. Parents' room was in view to the Twin Tower but not the KL tower. In the end, after returning from the Chinatown Night Market at 8.30 pm due to my mum's feet, my dad suggested to walk around & find a place that could see part of the KL Tower as on the journey back in the cab, saw the KL tower was very pretty in the lights.

After taking shots of the KL tower, my dad thought of walking a bit to find a nicer view of the TWin tower. In the end, when I saw a map after a monorail station, we realized that we were halfway through the journey from the hotel to the Twin tower. So we decided to return. We reached the hotel at about 11pm. Actually I didn't want to go as my feets also hurt but I just don't care. We were mad right.

It wasn't a really good time & plan actually. Only I printed KL map. My uncle & aunty never do anything.

Next time, I don't think I want to go just 1 afternoon, 1 night, 1 morning in KL. Too rush so can't really shop.
