Went to Trim my Hair

I decided to go and trim my hair today.

When I woke up this morning, it was still early so I scanned the drawings I did yesterday.

When I left my house, I pricked my finger on something sharp on the gate and it bleed. So I unlocked the door and went in to get plaster for my finger.

This time, when I reach the next block, I realized I forgot to cook the rice. So I walked back home to cook the rice then I go out again. Only then, I managed to go to had my hair trimmed.

Was the first customer. Had my hair trimmed and re-dye as the color had faded to brown (certain angle looks yellowish).

There I was given a magazine to read while waiting for my hair to absorb the dye. It was a Malaysia magazine. July issue and as I was reading, saw a page that look very familar yet there are some unfamilarity in that picture. As I read, I realized what is wrong. It is indeed very wrong.

It's an interview with 'ri lian zheng zong' and the report talked bad about Soka. Really bad comment. Bad comment about sensei too. So I tried to copy and sms my leader, Elvee. I even borrowed the magazine to zap a copy for Elvee as she request to look at it.

If soka is bad, how can it spread to 190+ countries? Yet they called themselves the true buddhism and we, Soka, are bad. Oh well, I just hope things will go well.

Anyway, I had my hair trimmed and dyed and he even blow my hair dry and curl it for me into very nice locks. It's so different when I try to curl myself.

Did quite a bit of drawing

I had been wanting to do some drawing but could not find the time. After the sketching of the Esplanade and Ferris Wheel for my cousin, I could no longer stand it.

Did quite a bit of drawing yesterday afternoon when I planned to practice my piano or study for my music theory.

It wasn't what I expected myself to be drawing but it's alright. I am satisfied with what I had drawn and had scanned them in my PCs but I shan't upload here. It's a secret... Shh...

Performance Bonus

Today I just checked my email.

I saw a mail about Performance Bonus. Something which I had been hoping for. Something which I might get but pro-rated. Something that I might not even get actually.

I opened to check the mail and amount that I will be getting. I got a shock. I think I got in full. And it's more than what I expected. I am so happy!!! Yuppie!!!!

I am still searching for part-time. I saw a part-time clinic assitance beginning of last week at CCK (somewhere close to me, somewhere that I want) but they looking for people doing afternoon slot. I was very sad. End of last week, they post again still wanting afternoon slot.

Yesterday, I wanted to look at the papers again. I could not find 'Classified'. My dad had thrown it away after using it to collect his cutted nails. OMG!!! There goes my 'Classified'...

So at least now is not so bad as I have just got a bit more money to last a bit longer and will have slightly more time to search for part time due to my PB but still, I can't lag...

YWD Leaders Kenshu

Yesterday was the YWD Leaders Kenshu. I am not a leader but my leaders aka friends, Shuling & Elvee, asked me to join too. Thus I went yesterday.

I meet another friend, Yifang, & her member, Rebecca, to go to the HQ together and we reach early. There were YWD helpers right from the entrance of the Kaikan. WOW!!! And they (holding the small Soka flag on their hands) would greet, clap & cheer all who went in especially those who are going for the Kenshu. And they were situated all the way to the registration counter.

We had a bit of chanting in 1 of the room at the basement while waiting for the people to clear after the morning gongyo. And the helpers were also situated from the registration counter right to the basement to lead us the way. Soon the room were so packed that all the seats were taken and that many others had to stand and kneel down at whichever position they could find.

Once the main hall was cleared, we were told to shift up. As we moved up, the helpers had already situated themselved along our path all the way to the main hall at level 2. Again, they would cheer us all.

We had some cultural programs by each individual zone and these small cultural programs were slot in between to lighten the whole atmosphere especially after we had some strict lectures or guidances. The cultural programs includes songs, cheers, even visual (like the 'cao ji bian bian bian'), and even dance. My zone, BP, came out with a dance. By right I am supposed to be in it too. But by left, as their training were on Saturday afternoon as I had piano lessons, I did not join in. This time, I swapped position. I am the audience instead of the performer. LOL. Anyway, my zone was put to the last to perform and I can say that it is the best among all. I guess it because among the groups of 10 + people, 1 was a dancer cum an ex Sunflower girl and 3 other current Sunflower girls. So you can see that they put in effort in their dressing and their make-up too. (**Sunflower is a dance cultural group)

We had lectures on the Gosho, 'The Opening of the Eyes', we had a workshop on how a leader should be with video clip, there were testimonial sharing, they showed video of the YWD dancing on the 070707 Performances, Video of Sensei giving guidances, and our GD get 'up-close' with us by sharing what he had been going through and thinking for the past few months, etc. We even had a photo taking session which by the end of the training, we got the photo. I had scanned the photo wanting to upload here to show that there were many people attending the training but then the photo size was too big for me to put here. And my PC do not have any software to edit and reduce the size. So too bad.. You can't see... ;p

Other than the lecture for the Gosho that is pretty heavy, overall, the whole training was pretty light-hearted due to some funny juice on how they bring forth the workshop with the video and the testimonial sharing.

But at the last half of the training, my throat start to get itchy and that I kept coughing and had to keep popping between 2 flavours of Strepsils and another kind of herbal, minty sweets and drank more water. I guess the air-con must have cause my throat to be extremely dry and due to my sitting position (right in the middle), I dare not drank too much water as I would have problem trying to get out.

And today, when I woke up, I can feel my throat is sore when it had already recovered except for my cough.

Rough Sketch of Esplanade and Ferris Wheel

Yesterday after coming home from grandma's house, did a search for picture on ferris wheel and a better and clearer picture of the esplanade for my cousin, Michelle, a Primary 2 kid.

Her teacher made them drew esplanade and ferris wheel providing them with an unclear picture of the esplanade. According to my cousin, the teacher search that picture through yahoo. But there are so many pictures on the web that is so much clearer and nicer.

Anyway, it's not the esplanade that she does not know how to draw. It's the ferris wheel that is a problem. I do know how to draw the big circle but what about each cabin? How to draw them? That is why I need to did a search before I can tell my cousin how to draw. Somemore, she had never seen a ferris wheel before so how can she draw?

After I got the pictures I need from the web, I decided to did a rough sketch for my cousin so that it is easier for her to draw her own picture. In fact, I did 2 sketches. 1 is with the foreground which my cousin plan to draw and another is with the bridge and the river as the foreground. Later will see which she decided to draw ba.

Collect NTUC Voucher from SHARP

Yesterday, the new 42 inch SHARP TV arrived.

The guys did the connection of the new DVD player to the TV and forgot about connecting it to the entertainment system. Well, it doesn't matter cause I could do so myself.

Since the TV had been delivered and seemed to be working fine, I thought I would go and collect the NTUC voucher from SHARP for my parents since I wasn't working.

Wanted to leave house at around 9am yet I overslept so I only left house at around 9.30am. And my bus passed by NP which was my poly years ago. I haven't been taking the bus since I graduated from poly so when I saw the students getting down the bus at the NP bus-stop, I was thinking that, 'Hmm... I was 1 of them before and it was years ago... OMG!!!'

I wasn't a person who is very good at direction so I printed out the map and the bus guide so that I would not get lost. Yet I was still worried that I might so when the bus was getting near my destination, I took out the printed bus guide to look at distinct landmarks. I also looked at the map again to see where is the exact location and direction that I need to walk. At that point, it started to rain. So sad... I do not want to open my umbrella as it is very troublesome.

Well, I missed certain landmarks but it's alright. I managed to drop off at the correct place and walked to the building that I need to go without opening my umbrella since it was just small drizzle.

There was a security at the entrance to the lift lobby. So I walked straight to inform my purpose of visit but it seemed to him that I do not know where is the SHARP office so he told me it's at level 21. LOL!!! But it's a good thing that I asked him. Apparently, the lifts were going to different levels. So I got into the correct lift.

At the SHARP reseption counter, I saw a familiar face. I do not recall where I saw her before as I had seen so many people especially over the past 2 years. Anyway, she do recogonized me too but she went off to do her work.

When she reappeared, she was passing the vouchers to the lady who came before me. While that lady was checking through her vouchers, we chatted a bit.

She asked if I am still working in there (I was still trying to recall where I seen her before) and I told her that I'm leaving for studies. She asked me where and I told her it's the same place. She asked what course and I told her while still trying to recall where I seen her. She asked if I got exemption and I said no. She asked how long I had been working and I told her that it's 4 years. And she commented that I will be there for very long. And her final question at that time allow me to figure out that she was a student. She asked if I would need textbooks. Well, if there are, of course I would want. But we could not chat further as she needs to get back in.

When she got back, this time with my vouchers, she asked me to check. Then when I am done and before she left, she told me that she is going there to work in a research lab under 1 of the prof. Didn't manage to ask about the textbooks thingy but anyway, I trusted that I would be able to get it somehow. If not, then I get new ones just that I was hoping to save some money by getting it 2nd hand or borrow from someone.

When I left, it was only drizzling so I also did not bother to open my umbrella. As I had looked at the map earlier on, I know where the bus-stop is and got there easily. Even though the map did not show any pedestrain crossing, I managed to follow my instinct to climb the stairs instead of trying to search for a traffic light crossing. I saw people coming down from the stairs and I saw escaltor and stairs at the other side of the road so I just assumed that is the overhead bridge which it does not look like so as there were shops along the bridge.

My bus came soon after and once on board, I soon got to realize that it was exactly the same bus which I took to go to collect the vouchers. The same bus and the same driver. LOL!!! What a coincidence!!!

At first I thought of going to get a notebook but it was raining when I reach the interchange so I decide to go home straight as I would not need my umbrella if I go home straight. Maybe later then I go and get the notebook ba.

'My Heart Will Go On'

2 weeks ago, my piano teacher made me played the piano piece, 'My Heart Will Go On'. It was 1 of the pieces of music that he had given to me long long time ago when I was still at a much lower grade than now.

When I got that piece of scores, I do not know that I must press on the pedal and I do not know why the song I played wasn't right. It was only that day when my teacher get me to play that he said I should step on the right pedal and he asked me to try. The song sounds indeed nicer.

Last week, when he asked me to play the song again, he asked me to add in repeated notes for my left hand. Hmm... It seemed to be getting more and more interesting.

I did try yesterday but I was kind of confused with the pedal as I do not know if I should keep pressing when I change the notes on my left hand. Will try again soon (I hope).

Haven't Been Doing Things I should

I had been on leaves again since Tuesday. Yet there seemed to be so many things to do and with so many undone.

Things haven't been going to what I had been planning long time ago. Well, partly due to my aunt's dog's injury, faulty PCs, faulty TV, and later a new TV coming.

Well, I do not know why this week seemed to be worst than last week. It seemed like I do not accomplished any of what I had been wanting to do for this week. Things like studying for music theory exam and practicing my piano and it's already Thursday!

I must try and get some practice later on my piano before and after the TV is being delivered and before going over to my grandma's house for dinner.

Tomorrow will be another long day. I decided to go and collect the ntuc voucher for my dad tomorrow and it's at Robinson Road. And most likely, my grandma will be asking us over for dinner as that is the usual.

Saturday will be my piano lesson already so I must try to practice today and tomorrow. Last week, I managed to practice more than the previous weeks and I did seemed to feel that at least I am not stagnant with my piano. I do not want to go back to square one again.

Went to bed late again

Yesterday, after saying that I might just go to bed early since I was so tired, I received an sms from a friend whom was asking if she could pass me my music theory books after her class ended.

So much for wanting to go and rest early but I don't mind. At least I got something to settle so that I don't feel that drained...

Tired

Due to the past few days of going to bed late and a bad sleep last night, I woke up feeling extremely tired. And worst still. I felt my throat worst than yesterday. Maybe because yesterday I did not drank as much water as I usually would when I was at work.

I got a 'missed call' and a new message on my mobile. I missed a phone call from my home telephone and yet I do not have the energy to get myself up.

Managed to do so and went to wash up. After eating, I decided to help my mum shifted the faulty TV out and combined all the cabinets as I know I could not concentrate if I practice my piano.

After all the necessary shifting is done, I decided that I should try to practice my piano which soon I gave up. It was no good. I can't concentrate at all so I sat at my desk and try to solve the sudoku puzzles. I know my head would slam down flat on the table soon but I do not care.

Well, I did fall asleep after my mum went to fetch my cousin, Nelson and was kind of awoken when she is back. I bet if my mind is still in this unconscious state, I might just go to bed soon after this.

Reading Too Much

For the past few days, I had been reading the book 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'. I would read like 1 to 2 chapters before I turn in everyday.

Last night, though tired, I decided to finish up the whole book since there are like 6-7 chapters left and I managed to complete the book at around 2am. I supposed I am crazy. When I do not need to wake up early the following day, I would give myself excuse to turn in late.

Well, I did not manage to sleep well at all. My mind was subconciously drifting in and out. It is like at certain point, I would still seemed to be awake trying to get to sleep and a moment later, it seemed that I had fallen asleep and the next moment, woke up again and trying to get to sleep again. I had been in that mode for the whole time in the night.

At a point, when I was in dreamland, I dreamt that my dad drove me home or somewhere. On the journey, he showed me some magic tricks that I do not know when he learnt. Or rather, it seemed to him that was something simple yet it's not logical to me. So I questioned my dad. He too started to question himself how those magic works.

At that moment, he was driving on a bend. And the car was gaining speed that I had to tell my dad to slow down and be careful. We were at the edge of the bend that was going downwards so it is very dangerous to move too fast.

Following that, I felt my legs flying. It is as if I am in a centrifuge. And the next moment, I saw that the whole car had gone out of the track. The whole car is in mid air. My whole heart almost dropped out. My heart almost stopped beating at the sight of where I am. I had the feeling that I'm gonna die and I drifted out of the dreamland and saw myself looking around my room trying to get to sleep.

Just now as I was keeping the Harry Potter book away, I remembered that I read the chapter that Hary Potter and 5 of his friends rode on the Thestral to fly to the Ministry of Magic. So I supposed that is the origin of my weird dream.

My dad can used the PC already!!!

Yay!!!

Yesterday when my dad got home, he brought back a stack of notes. Those troubleshooting kind of notes for the websites that he needs to access for his work.

1 of the section was about unabling to access certain transaction from the websites which is suppose to be what had happened to us.

In that section, we must download 'Java'. Hmm... I don't know what that is but anyway I tried. And after downloading, I told my dad to try again for the website that he is using. And YEAH!!!! It works!!!

But then, 1 of the cooling fan with green light in my CPU is down. So I suppose that is faulty. But anyway, there are 2 other cooling fans that are running. So I hope they are enough to cool the CPU.

Marshal Duties

Today was the convocation for my school dept. I was called upon to do marshal duties.
Anyway, for the duties, we were supposed wear marshal gown. See below. Got my colleague, Eliza, to snap while we were in the auditorium when we were supposed to be gathering the graduands to settle down. We failed to get them to do so and in the end we join in the fun. LOL!!!

When I was doing my duties, and when I saw those students whom we had chit chat before and when they smile back at me. I could not describe the feeling. Especially when I take care of their practical (whole of year 1 and part of year 2 modules). So when I see them graduating, there is no words that can replace the feeling.

And I did had a weird feeling. Like being lost? No... Can't say lost. Guess due to my lack of vocabulary, I just don't know how to say. Anyway, what I am trying to say (I suppose those who know might understand) Here I am, once their TE, here as a staff, there as a marshal, and soon to be in another position and yet I'll still be here.

I think I am really 'lost'. I am so lost for words now... Shall not continue further as all I'll be typing won't make any sense.

About PCs again.

Hope this is the last time I'm going blog about the PCs.

My PC seemed to be fixed except that my dad could not access his work related websites. And it was fixed at Sim Lim for $310 which includes service charge of everything, Window XP Home edition, DVD ROM cum CD-Writer, 2x 256MB RAM and a graphic card.

The guy whom my dad been calling the other time quote verbally to my dad that he change the Windows for $100 (service charge for him to change the Windows) and Window XP itself is $150. That $100 service charge might not include for all and as he come over to our house, he might not have the graphic card and RAM and might need to come for another trip so the whole thing will be like don't know how much already.

Anyway, my dad said he might want to bring his PC over for service check if my PC is working fine. If he does so, I just hope that the problem to his PC is to the minimum too so that we won't spend so much on such an old system.

But the ultimate issue is to figure out how my dad can use all the links in the website that he needs to do his work.

Seeing Red

First thing I saw today when I sit up from my bed was red. Blood stains over on my left arm. Not just a tiny blood stain. There were a big patch of blood stain, some small tiny patch of stains and some tiny blood clots on my arms. See picture. Those red marks aren't rashes or birth marks. They are blood stains.

I was so puzzled and was trying to find out the source where I might have bleeding which I do not know. I saw that even pillow had a patch of blood on it of about a diameter of about a $1 coin or a 50 cent coin (not very round though).

Upon seeing the stain on my pillow, the first thing I did was to feel through my head for any sign of wound which I could not find. So my next reaction was to look into the mirror to look at my face for any sign of blood stain. Especially when I heard before from my mum that I got cousins who had nose bleed in the middle of the night and they found blood stain on their pillow, etc when they woke up. Even though I do not have any nose bleed before, but seeing the stain on the pillow case make me worried. When I looked at the mirror and saw no blood stain on my face, neck, etc. Not even on my clothes. I was even more puzzled. How on earth did I get blood stain on my left arm and my pillow?

As I could not find out the cause, I decided to give it a rest and went to wash up and get ready to go to work. I washed away the blood stains on my arm and started to brush my teeth. There, I saw a teeny tiny wound where the blood keep coming out and it's coming out pretty fast. the wound is near the elbow and by the time I brushed my teeth and want to wash away the blood, blood had tiggled to my wrist and even to my elbow due to the position that my hand was held.

While I wash my face, the wound continue to bleed and I had to constantly wash it to remove the blood and by the time I reached my room and grab a cotton bud to clean off the blood. The cotton bud is already soak in my blood. That is how terrible it bleed. OMG! When I want to wash my wound with some solution (can't remember what) using cotton bud, it was too soak in blood and my arm looked very messy. So I had to change my mind to use cotton swab instead of cotton bud. And I can't remove the cotton swab away while I was trying to grab the proflavin solution. Even after applying the proflavin solution, I also had to leave the cotton swab on my arm while I tear the handi-plast so that it can continuing to absorb the blood. Not that I did not try applying pressure on my small tiny wound. But it just won't stop bleeding that in the end I just don't care. I just placed the plaster on the wound after I had cleaned it and it seemed to have stop bleeding now.

The top picture is taken immediately after I had just clean off the blood and yet it still bloody and within 1 or 2 seconds, it looks like the bottom picture. That is why it can get so messy while I was trying to brush my teeth and wash my face.

The follow top picture is the first cotton bud when I used to dry the blood off my hand the moment I reach my room after washing up. The bottom picture show the mess of cotton swab and buds after I stick the plaster on my arm.

Dad can't access the work related website

That time, my dad had been so sure that by servicing the PCs or getting a brand new one will sure be able to access the website that he needs for his work.

Yet, yesterday after we went home at around 8+pm and after I downloaded all my printer, scanner, wireless network into my PC, I let my dad try the website. He found that he could not gain access to 3 of the links. It stated error. We did a PC test from that website and found 2 error saying that we have no access to that network address.

Well, at first I thought my dad might need netscape communicator which he need before long long time ago. Yet it is still the same. *Sigh*

I suggest to my dad to check with maybe his boss elder brother, Ah Chin, who is better to communicate with and see if he knows how to solve the problems.

In the end, my dad tried calling the helpdesk which is not very helpful actually cause in the end, we still could not manage gain access to those links. By that time, it was already near 11pm.

I hope that Uncle Ah Chin does know what is wrong and so that my dad can manage to do his work at home if he needs to. It would be very dumb to go back to office in the middle of the night just to do some clicks. Worst still, if the goods aren't here yet, then he will have to stay overnight in the office?

I just can't figure out what is the whole damn problem.

Spending Alot Yesterday

Yesterday, after my training, I meet my parents at JE as my dad needs to drive 3 of his China colleagues back to their office cum home.

I just grabbed a waffle and a cup of soy bean drink with grass jelly for my lunch and bought 2 folded umbrellas (1 for my mum and 1 for me).

When I finally met with my parents, they went choosing and buying reading glasses. After which, my dad drove us back.

He asked me to go home to detach the PC in my study room and we'll bring to Sim Lim Square to try to find out the problem.

On the journey back, he also told me that he 'bought' a Sony Laptop at $2k+. Well, Actually not he buy. His colleague wants to buy and don't have a credit card to pay by installment. So my dad kind of lent him the card. (Hope that colleague is trustable!)

When we reached Sim Lim, we went straight to the shop that we went to before. Upon looking at the PC parts, the guy said that our RAM is faulty and is too low for our system. After changing that and switched on the system, he said our Windows is faulty also. And to change 2x 256MB RAM cost $60. Service charge for everything $30. Change window to XP Home edition cost $140. And I told him about the CD-writer and after checking he said that is faulty too. And to change that into a DVD-ROM cum CD-Writer cost another $35. He said that our mother board and etc are still in good condition and that he can see that we seldom use the PC and it is still very clean. Since that is what he said, we let him changed as we would not need to spend too much.

While he was doing some work, he then realized that our graphic card is going faulty too. And to changed that, it cost think $80. OMG!!! I was like thinking in my heart. What is this? Why there is more to be added. From servicing fee of around $300 will become around $400? Will there be more problem?

Anyway, after that graphic card, he did not find anything else faulty so it was done and when he did the invoicing, he forgot the CD-writer. So in total, we paid like $310 to get the PC working again.

After dinner, we went over to HN as my parents saw tt morning that there is a 42 inch TV costing around slightly over $2k. They want to get it via installment but as they had to pick me up, they did not buy at that time.

So this time, we went to a HN branch nearer to us thinking that all these shop should be selling same item at same price and same promotion. Apparently, they are not. And this time the salesman that served us try to bargain for us a good price and a good deal for a much better TV.

I was in shock actually when I see the way that we can try to bargain and they way they try to get us good price when I thought HN like other main electrical shops should be selling at nett price.

In the end my parents decided to get that TV at $3k+. I don't know what to say so I just kept quiet the whole time. Since my parents were the one deciding, I do not want to say more already. I was just hoping what ever they are getting is worth the money.

My parents want to pay via installment and as my dad had already used his credit card that morning spending $2k+ on the Laptop plus he still got other things to pay from the credit card, he do not have enough to pay the full amount. The cashier help to maximize the amount to pay via credit card to $3.4k and my dad (or I should say my mum) still got to fork out another $100+. Think my mum will be the one paying for the TV.

I guess this is the first time that we can spend so much in a day and that my dad even exceeded the limit of his credit card. OMG!!!

Tough Training or I Getting Weak?

Saturday went home late. And slept late as I was trying to upload my photos and do backup. I do not feel very safe with my PCs nowadays. So yesterday morning, I had hard time trying to get myself out of the bed.

Anyway, I managed to get on the bus. Think it was the bus that was actually earlier than the one I usually took. Well, eventually, I think it was a good idea to take that bus as I overslept. I was reading the New Human Revolution Book by Ikeda Sensei and I just happened to close my eyes for a rest. When I opened my eyes, I saw the SPC petrol kiosk and SYC and the bus-stop is already over. So I stopped over the next bus-stop and walked over to SYC. Luckily it was quite nearby actually.

The training was lead by Ah Kheng. As we have no project currently. We are more focus in body conditioning, etc and by the time we gathered to learn some dance steps from her. My thighs started to tense up.

With the constant up and down movement. It wasn't doing much good to my thighs. So I kind of could not concentrate well. Not a very good attempt. *Sigh*

And I knew that I am going to get muscle ache on my thighs today and surely it did hurt. It must be due to the past weeks of no tough training. Hmm... No wonder I'm getting fatter.

Celebrating Grandma's Birthday

On Saturday, we celebrated my grandma's birthday over at her house. Ordered buffet from 5 to 10 pm.

After my piano lesson, went to collect the birthday cake with my cousin, Junting. I thought she won't follow me as she kind of always break her promises. Anyway, this is not important.

After the collection of the 2 kg birthday cake, we decided to take a cab to our grandma's house as there were quite alot of people walking around. I don't want to destroy the cake.

Reached grandma's house at 6+pm. And relatives started to pop in at that time also and we started having our dinner.

And we have got a rare visitors, My cousin whom I known him as Ah Xiong 哥哥. He came with his wife and 2 kids and a maid.

Well, we aren't that close so when his children, wife and maid first appeared, I was wondering who they are actually till I saw my cousin.

He's my eldest aunt aka my grandma's eldest daughter's son. Chim?

His eldest son, Kai Xuan, is already in primary 4 and the youngest, Kai Zhe, is just 15-16 months old. And mind you. This is not my oldest nephew. I got a nephew who is already in NS.

Unlike Kai Xuan, Kai Zhe had very big round eyes with long eyelashes. So adorable!!! But I didn't manage to get the photo of the both of them together. That's my small nephew whom I request my mum, etc to just let him known me as 姐姐. ;p

You don't believed that his eyes are very big? Well, see this picture then. The boy on my left is the youngest cousin, Wilson, whom my mum is looking after. And so, since Wilson is my cousin, that means, he is Kai Zhe's uncle. LOL. So here's the photo of Uncle Wilson Nephew Kai Zhe. Wahahaa!!!

Believed now that Kai Zhe's eyes very big and round? LOL!!!

Anyway, here the photo of my grandma carrying her great grandson. Look at her. She is smiling so happily. Hee.

A friend's mum was admitted to hosiptal

Last Friday, received an sms from a friend, Sze, whom I am supposed to be meeting with 2 other friends, Mei & Ling.

She said she can't meet us as her mum was admitted to hospital. OMG!!!

At first I want to get my music theory books from her to study since I am meeting her on Sunday so she suggested that she passed to me on Saturday Morning while she is going to the hospital to look after her mum. In the end, we never met as she was going to the hospital with her dad. It doesn't matter if I didn't get back my books now. It's not that urgent. I still got my notes to study. What matter most is that her mum will get well very very soon!!!

Saturday afternoon, I smsed her to check how her mum is. She said she could be discharged from the hospital and go home to rest. She have to go back for checkup on Monday though.

Well, at least staying at own house is much confortable than staying in the hospital. Sze also said that they found something at her mum's cervic. OMG! I hope she will get well soon! There is nothing much I can do also. I can only lent my ears to my friend if she needs. And chant and pray strong life force and speedy recovery for her mum.

3 Days of Cockroaches and Another Day of Worm

After 3 days of seeing cockroaches, saw a dead worm in my room. Yucks!!!

That happened the day after the last cockroach appeared in my house on a Saturday Morning.

I was tidying up my bed and pushing the mattress under the bed. There I saw a dead worm lying motionlessly on the floor. It seemed to be hidden under the mattress of something like that. OMG!!! I almost fainted when I saw it.

What is it doing in my room? How did it even get in? Think it's millipede, the type where people used to feed the birds and fishes. But my fish never ate that. And there is no other fish or any bird in my house. It's very weird!!!

I still feel goosebumps thinking back about it. >.<

That PC is a Goner

I did another attempt to use to PC again using the original Monitor. Yet the same problem occurred again.

While I was trying to change and fix another monitor, my dad called. I thought he was looking for my mum so I told him straight that she is not home and so asked him to call her mobile.

It was quite irriating when I had to move here and there due to phone calls, etc. Sianz...

Well, when I switched on the PC with another monitor, the same problem occurred again. So I bet this conclude that the Monitor is also working fine.

When my dad was on the phone, he asked me about the PC. He heard from my mum that the PC is still sometimes ok and sometime not. I told him I was still trying to check.

Well, I told him that if that PC don't work, we still got another PC in my bedroom. We can try to check if the PC can access his work related websites. If ok, then when he need, he'll use mine and I'll use his.

Guess what my dad said. He still said that since 'we' want to get the IT guy to come and change the Windows, we can ask him to check on the PCs. OMG! He still have the idea of changing the Operating System?

What is the point of repairing and changing the Operating System? What if like what the IT guy said that after fixing this, another problem occur soon after that?

Anyway, I had fixed the wireless adapter to my PC in the bedroom. I am using this PC to blog right now. There is something wrong with this PC also. I can't go to hotmail when I opened the Internet Explorer. I must go to other websites first before I can go to hotmail. If not it will prompt an error and the Internet Explorer Window will close and restart. Hmm... Weird.

My dad was back so I asked him to try to access the websites that he needs to. Like his own PC, he can reach the webpage after several secure login. Yet when he wants to click on those links to retrive what he needs to, he could not do so. I could not access those links.

So conclusion, even this PC in my bedroom is also not ok for my dad so currently there are no PC for him to use if he needs to.

What to do? Get the guy to repair the PCs and change the operating system? or Get a new PC?

I suddenly have this thinking. Since the guy said it's not worth it to get the PCs repaired, then how about getting another simple and cheap PC (if the websites my dad needs to use will be 100% accessible). Cause I can still use my dad current PC and even my PC to do my work, check emails and serve the net. I will use these 2 PCs till they are down without even changing the operating system in case they are going to be a goner soon (don't know when but I do hope they will last). Then maybe then, then I get a laptop of something for me to use.

But I am getting uncertain especially why my dad could not access his work-related websites. *sigh*

5 cockroaches in 3 days

Wednesday afternoon, I saw a small cockroach on the fridge's leg. Sprayed with insecticide while it try to escape under the frigde. I don't know where it went and I don't wish to dig it out. I'm disgusted by the looks of it and scare that it would come anywhere near me. Sound silly right? I'm so many times bigger than it and yet I'm afraid of it. What to do?

Yesterday night, while my mum is hanging the clothes, she caught 1 cockroach in the kitchen sink. I thought she dropped something but when I see that her arm is still in the sink for a much longer time needed to grab what she dropped, my first reaction was to slowly move back and out to the living room in case she caught a cockroach. When my mum turned back and saw that I had moved miles away, she laughed at me.

Yesterday night after my parents had gone to bed. I was still in my study room trying my PC and noting some information. As I felt tired and decided to turn in, I saw another cockroach crawling on the floor right in front of me. It was blocking my path to get the insecticide from the kitchen so my reaction now was to empty my rubbish bin and cover it over the cockroach. As there is a plastic bag in the rubbish bin, I could not spray it was insecticide. All I can do was to drag the rubbish bin to the living room and left it there overnight while I leave a note for my mum to help me get rid of it.

Just now when I was going to the kitchen, saw another cockroach lying on it's back. I thought it was dead but when it started to move, I jumped. Damn. My mum was not home. Only my cousins' new maid and my youngest cousin, Wilson, are home with me. I decide to use my rubbish bin again but I decided to ask the maid if she is afraid of the cockroach. She wasn't. Yeah!! She helped me get rid of the cockroach. She said just now after she did the cooking, she saw 1 also and she threw it away.

So in just 3 days, there had been 5 cockroaches visiting my house!!! I hate cockroaches. And when 1 appear, more will start to appear soon too. What's with the home visit from the cockroaches? So yucky!!! *Shivers*

Checked my PC

This afternoon, checked on the PC.

Removed printer, scanner, wireless adapter.
Yet same problem occurred.
Conculsion: Printer, Scanner and Wireless Adapter are OK.

Left printer, scanner and wireless adapter unplugged.
Change Keyboard and Mouse.
Yet same problem occured.
Conclusion: Keyboard and Mouse are also OK.

Change back Keyboard and Mouse.
Change Monitor.
Nothing happened.
Conclusion: Original Monitor got problem?

Switch off the system and on again.
Still working well.
Hmm...

Change back Original Monitor.
Nothing happen.
Conclusion: Original Monitor also OK?

Switch off the system and on again.
Still working well.

Plugged back printer, scanner and wireless adapter.

And I used from 3-4pm till now.

Hmm...

So what is wrong or what went wrong?

Guess I'll shut down and try again later with the other monitor. *sigh*

Black-Out Once Again

After being so relieved just now, it black-out again after I was using it for the past 30-45 minutes. But luckily it never black-out when I was keying the previous blog. & now I had to make it fast...

Hmm... Maybe tomorrow, I try to change keyboard, mouse and even moniter. To check if it could be caused by any of these. *Crossed fingers* *Hoping*

My PC scared of my dad?

Just now, after coming back from my grandma's house, I decided to test my PC again before I told my dad. Same problems occur again.

After I told him, I manually shut down the PC using the Power Switch on the CPU. After a while, my dad came to look at the PC so I switched it on.

Somehow, it seemed like the PC was scared of my dad. It was working fine when he was here. My dad even check his emails, etc and still was working fine. Hmm... Weird...

I don't understand why this happened. So I shut down the system and restart again to test. This time it worked. That is how I can blog right now.

My dad told me that he had called the IT guy actually. His advice is if the PCs got problems, don't bother fixing them back as they are pretty old system actually. I can't believe my ears. I know the PC in my bedroom is the oldest following by the PC in my dad's room then the PC in my study room.

Due to all the mix and match, repair and changing of these and that, I had lost count of the PCs' age. I just know my part of my mouse and printer had turn yellow from the constant exposure to indirect sunlight that shine into my room. I just know that my PC in my bedroom is still using a mouse with rolling ball.

As I lost count of the PCs' age, I thought my PC was at most 1-2 years old. But my dad told me that it was much older than that. After a hard attempt to recap, I think I had this PC before I had my piano and that was in March 2005. So I thought it would be about at most 3 years?

I just went to dig out the invoices for the CPUs. Managed to find out the date for my PC in the study room and the date for my dad's PC. His PC was dated back to 24 May 2002 and my PC was dated back to September 2003.

Hmm... My PC was near 4 years old and my dad's PC was more than 5 years old? That would meant that my other PC in my bedroom is an antique. Wow!!! No wonder that IT guy told my dad that our PCs are very old. No point getting them fixed if they are down. He was sayingthat this moment, this problem might be solved, following moment another problem might arise. So he suggested that we should get new PC if ours are really down. Maybe that is why my PC is back to normal when my dad is home. It knows it would be in trouble if it is ill.

Well, I supposed even though he (the IT guy) is out to earn money (Once, on the second or third visit, he even charge us by per hour in addition to other charges, etc), he is still honest with this issue. I'm glad he is. I had been worrying also because in case he went all out to earn money, we would spend more than unnecessary.

I guessed after hearing these, after confirming the ages, I am much relieved. Yet at the same time, I was hoping they can last as long as they can especially when now, there is another issue to take note. The TV in the living room is totally gone.

For me, I know it might be expensive to get a new TV especially when my living room is big so a normal 21 inch TV be pretty small as compared to the current around 40 inch flat-screen TV. I supposed can try to look out for a normal (maybe 29 inch) TV which was the size of the previous TV that we had in the living room. I guess that should do the job rather than trying to get it repair when it was down again like at most 3 months after last servicing. But all in all, this is what I think and feel. It would be my dad who make the final decision. If he decided to get it repair, I guess I won't go against it. We can just give it a 1 last attempt to revive it though.

But it would be really bad timing if all are down at this moment. This moment when the sole family income will be totally back to my dad. This moment when I am short of cash. This moment when I am trying to look for part time job just to make my ends meet without asking money from my dad.

Damnit. I saw 1 clinical assistant post for evening and weekend at around JE a couple of days ago but I decided to try my luck to source for 1 even nearer to my house so that my parents would not worry so much when I knock off late. I shouldn't have done that. I should have try to call and ask. What have I done! *Sigh*

And yesterday after trying to guide my cousin, Michelle, a primary 2 kid, for her english homework on cloze passage, I realized I confirm can't teach to give tuition. Especially English. You might think that I had graduated with a Diploma and had been working for 4 years plus. How can I not know how to teach a lower primary English. Yet I am stuck... My grammer sucks, my vocabulary very limited, etc etc. I can't even think of a word for a primary two cloze passage. How can I teach this way?

So giving tuition is confirm out of question. Unless I can specialized in Mathematics which is my only strength. Yet, I had no confident after lost contact of the subject for ages. I need to recap. I need to know their syllabus, etc. Hmm... It's harder than ever to get a part time job...

So please! Please! PLEASE!!! I begged the PCs at home to last as long as possible till I manage to find a part time job that could earn more than what I need for the next few years.

PC getting weird...

My PC is getting weird. The PC that I usually used to access the internet, to do work, etc. *Sigh*

About a week plus ago, when the Singtel people come to fix the broadband, it was then that I detect that the CD-Writer was not functioning as it should be. It could not read any CDs that I placed in the drive.

I can't remember when is the last time I used it but I remember always used that drive rather than the normal CD-ROM drive when I need. And the last time I used was to burn some documents (doing some documents backup).

Yesterday, something weird happens again.

This time, my screen will black-out after I left it alone while I start the system. Shaking my mouse, pressing some keys on my keyboard doesn't light up my screen when my CPU is still running. Even I press restart, the CPU also won't restart and it does produce some form of beeping sound.

I had to manually press the Power Switch till the CPU shut down then I restart the whole system by pressing the Power Switch. I had to keep moving the mouse when my CPU is starting up so that the screen do not black out again.

Today, it is even worst. I manage to use it for a while in the morning with same problem as yesterday). But just now when I want to use it as I forgot to put Out of Office for my work email account. So I wanted to do so. This time, I can't even get to see my Window Screen for more than think at most 5-10 seconds and it black-out. This time even moving my mouse when the CPU start doesn't work at all.

I also realized that even my keyboard got no signal. I tried pressing 2 keys. The Caps Lock and the Num Lock. These 2 keys should produce lights or the lights be gone when you pressed them when the CPU is on. Yet, there is no reaction when I pressed these 2 keys.

Actually before all these happened, I had problem when I shut down my CPU. It always shut down very very slowly.

Now, I am using my dad's PC to come online to put Out of Office for my work email.

And now, I am even more and more unsure whether or not to change my Window 2000 to Window XP. Especially now that problems start to come out from my PC. I don't want to waste unnecessary money. I want to make sure that whatever I do to my PC and my dad's PC is worth the money.

I am having questions now like...

My PC
Why did my CPU take ages to shut down?
Why can't my CD-Writer drive reads?
Why my moniter, keyboard and mouse can't detect the signal from my CPU?
Why my moniter does come to life when the CPU is starting and why did it black-out?
What is the main problem or problems that caused these?

My dad's PC
Why can't he access the website he needs to for his work?
Why is his PC slow?
It prompt 'not enough virtual memory' before on the night when the broadband is fixed.
Why and what is virtual memory?

What is wrong with these 2 PCs?
How can I get these 2 PCs fixed?
How much money do I need to get them well?
Is it worth it to get them repair and change the window from window 2000 to window XP with the service charge of $100 per PC just to change to Window XP?
What is the Window XP that the IT technician told my dad that it cost around $150 each?
Is it the basic edition or the professional edition?
Will these problems re-occur?

I am going nuts when it comes to problems with CPU.

Even my TV in the living room is down when it had been repaired just less than or at most 3 months ago. It black-out again after it was fixed back. To get a new TV will cost money. Yet to get it repair, how long can it last? The previous repair only lasted not more than 3 months so how long can the next repair last?

*Sigh*

Missed FOC - Good or Bad?

I had never been to any camp before. So actually, I was hoping I can go once to at least know how it is like. To experience how it is like to be. But I choose to give it a miss again. Why?

Reasons...
1. Got briefing for duties as Marshal for the Convo. on Tuesday.
2. Was having my inconvenient days.
3. Was having bad cough.

Well, it seemed that the briefing for Marshal duty was not compulsory. They never take attendance. Anyway, my colleague who is suppose to be going with me can't make it for the briefing so I must go eventually so that both of us know what to do on the actual day.

Apparently, it seemed that missing the FOC wasn't a bad decision overall.

More Reasons...
1. Everyday, I either can't fall asleep easily due to my cough or been waking up early due to my cough. This means that I can't really sleep well at night and I'll be really tired the following day.
2. I seemed to have slight fever on Sunday when I went to see the Doctor for my cough.
3. I was feeling very uncomfortable with cramps and backache on Monday and Tuesday that I had to pop pills.
4. During music theory class on Tuesday, we were passed a form to register for the exam in November 2007. We must submit the form by this week and I was staying quite near my music theory school. So I submitted my registration during my lesson that same day of my lesson.

I can't imagine if I went for the FOC, how bad it will be. I guess I'll look half dead due to the tireness and uncomfort. I'll miss the registration for the exam and will have to drag further on to March 2008. And I believed I will cause sleepless night for the rest of my new friends. Oops...

Movie - Transformer

Saturday, had the same usual routine except that my cousins did not come over after their abacus class. Their cousin's having a birthday party so my aunt brought them over. They only came after I reached home from my piano lesson. After which, my mum brought the 2 eldest to go swimming while I look after the maid and the youngest who fallen asleep due to tireness. And the maid talk to me and we chat.

At that time, my friend, Mei, sms me and asked if I want to catch a movie (Transformers) with her and Sze. Soon, Sze also sms me but I only confirmed with them after my mum came back.

We met at 8.30pm. By the time we reached the cinema, the tickets were sold out which we did not expect so. So we rushed to another place. There were still seats. But the queue was very long. And we only had 15 minutes to queue before the show started.

15 minutes later, we got our tickets (somehow), and we went in to the threatre. We were at the very first row. OMG!

Anyway, the show did not start immediately. It started almost 10-15 minutes late at around 9.25 to 9.30pm.

The show was pretty nice. Pretty exciting even from the beginning. As I wasn't well (had cough and once in a while slight headache that day), after like half an hour of watching, I got headache again. I guess it's also from the position that we were in plus, we were so closed to the screen and the screen kept spinning and spinning as the air crafts flew. I had to close my eyes for a moment then I continue watching. And I'm glad my headache did not persist on for long so I manage to watch the movie throughout.

After the movie, we went to take trains home. By the time I reached home, it was already 12.05am. By the time I wash-up and get to bed, it was almost 12.45am. I guessed I was so tired that I almost fallen asleep immediately after my head touch the pillow if not because of my cough.

Exciting dreams

1 or 2 days back, I had an exciting dream.

It's like those movies on crocodiles just that I'm in it.

The crocodiles in my dream are very intellegient. They won't show themselves on the surface of the water. At most you might see is a few tiny bubbles which can be easily missed. And mind you, a group of people and me are in the shallow water too.

Last night, I had another weird and exciting dream. I dreamt that for the NDP performances, they add in a stun. A stun which will involve many persons (Youths and Kids). A stun which involve the MRTs and LRTs. Can you guess what it is?

It's not human pyramid. It's MRTs and LRTs pyramids. Not just 1 pyramid, I think there are 3 in total. WOW!!! Exciting right? All 3 pyramids are in different formation which I do not remember. I just know I was there when I saw the 1st pyramid and was trying to take photos when I see more pyramid coming. In the end, I don't know why and how I got into 1 of the pyramid.

After the whole rehearsal, we gather at the LRT platform. And don't know why, someone played the song 'di yi tian' by Sun Yan Zi and most of us stood up and dance to it (seemed like most of us there were from the Youth General Meeting in early this year). Hmm... Weird...

And also due to the risk involved, we were suppose to be given $1k.

I think I watched too many exciting movies and had like performance, etc quite closely that I had these kind of weird dreams. Somemore, I'm quite in need of money ba. LOL!!!

Tiring Monday!!!

Took leaves from Monday to Wednesday and time off on Thurday.

I plan to go out with Ling on MOnday. Yet due to some circumstances, we could not.

My aunt, xiao yi's dog, shiro, scratched her butt till got lobang. Then my aunt worried she will scratch and worsen the wound. And she was unable to take leave on MOnday.

Actually, last thursday, she brought the dogs over to my house. Friday, my mum went over to look after them as my cousins' parents aren't working. Saturday, my aunt brought them over again.

I took leave to rest, to tidy my rooms, to practice piano & go out with Ling.

Since I'm on leave, I thought at most I helped my aunt to look after her dogs. At most, I rest when I'm at her house.

In the end, my mum suggested that I look after my cousins while she take care of the dogs so that I can pack my rooms. (Like this is worst loh).

6.30am wake up (usual time)
7.45am go over to cousins' place
8+am make sure the youngest (Wilson) don't cry searching for his mother
??am get the kids to wash-up & had their breakfast
??am get Michelle to learn her spelling & dictation
10+am make sure the maid prepare lunch
11am get d kids to have their lunch
11.45am get Michelle to change into her school uniform
12 noon bring Michelle down to wait for school bus
12.15pm go back and make sure Nelson (the 2nd kid) to shower and change into his school uniform
12.45pm bring Nelson, Wilson and the maid to take LRT (I bring Nelson to school; the maid bring Wilson to my house to shower and get him to take his nap)
1.30pm reach home and put soup ingredients to boil and cook
2pm pack a bit of my room
3pm prepare dinner
5pm get Wilson to have his dinner
6pm go over cousins' place to fetch Michelle from her school bus (Luckily my mum got back to take over) so I continue to pack my rooms.

So tiring!!!

Sotong Teacher

Last Tuesday, during my final training for the 0707 Performance, I received a miss call which I suspect was from the music school. Anyway, I ignore since when I got my handphone, the music school was already closed.

Last Saturday, on the actual day for the performance, I received another miss call. This time, I also suspected it's from the music school. As we were not suppose to keep our handphone or valuables outside, I didn't call back.

When I went home with my parents that day, my mum told me that the school called home. Asking why I didn't go for my music theory and piano lesson. As my mum knew I told my teacher the previous week, she told the person over the phone that the teacher is very blur. Michelle overheard this & commented that the teacher very blur, very sotong. He must be having sotong for all his meals. LOL.

Yesterday, when I went for music theory lesson, the teacher asked me why I never come when I just stepped into the classroom. I told him I informed him the previous saturday and what Michelle (previously learnt piano from him also) commented.

During the lesson, he asked me in details again. So I don't care if he'll be 'malu'. Since he asked, I say out loh. Even if the other 2 classmates heard. LOL

SSA 070707 Commemorative Performance

Last Saturday, 7 July 2007, was a very special day. Not just the digit from the date is tripple 07, it was our SSA 070707 Commemerative Performance at Singapore Indoor Stadium (SIS).

The evening before the actual day, we had our technical run -through at the SIS. We were told to gather at 7pm. I took half day leave so that I can reach on time. As I do not know the travelling time, I went out like around 2 hours plus and in the end I reached the SIS at around 6.15pm when I walked around Kallang MRT Station to search for bus-stop with bus 11.

The technical run-through was delayed and so we only finished at 10+pm. It was so tiring. My dad wasn't coming over to fetch me so I followed Elvee. Her friend, Maggie's boyfriend send us back home. By the time we reached home, it was already around 12am.

At first we were told to gather on the actual day at 10.30pm. Subsequently, were informed to be 10am and in the end, 9.15am.

Earlier that morning, when I woke up, it was drizzling. Not a good start, especially when we had to wear stocking from home. In the end, Elvee called and asked if want to take cab there with Mag. So eventually, we took cab there.

Once there, we had our short run through then we went back to our holding area. Our runner always got wrong information since the technical run-through the night before so we were always called to go out way to early. So most of the time, we had to run back to our holding area again. Every rooms (holding area) were guarded by a few uncles (Soka Knights). Our uncles are so nice. They would clap and cheer us when we went out for run-through and actual show and when we came back. Oh ya, they even gives us 'high five'. Cool right? LOL.

They would open the door for us also. They even went to search for a fan when we complaint that there seemed to be no air con (actually i believe it's due to we keep doing some warm-up exercises). They are so nice. They also carried waters, foods for us.

We had 2 rehearsals that day before the actual show in the evening. The first rehearsal was still quite on time. But the second rehearsal was pretty delayed.

Both rehearsals, we did not do well, we kept doing the same old mistakes. We were pretty worried as there is no way to redo the whole show. Somemore the music, the song were all lived. So we must be able to feel for each other.

The gates were opened at around 6.15pm. There is some performance at that time for those who came early. The actual show started at around 7.30pm. There are some prize presentations (not quite 'some', it's about 70+). Our 1st item is the 2nd item to start the show. Yet we got delayed. Very long delayed. Till we were all very tired.

During this time, we get our chief, section I/Cs to entertain us. They want to make Gina sang along, yet in the end, the keep dragging till kind of all of us sang. BUt it was fun. We cheer, we laugh, we sang. But soon all these came to a stop. And so we were back to our drained out mood.

We chanted together when we had time before our actual show and and off we went, the performance seemed to go smoothly. So happy!!! We got 2 performance, 1st to the music, 'The Flower Duet' and the 2nd to the music, 'Nella Fantasia'. Both went on well. We were indeed very happy. After the Finale, as we went back to our holding area, right before we reach the door, we all thank the uncles.

problem with having common name

I do have a common name, a pretty common english name also.

I don't know why in the past, from young till secondary school, even the first 3 months at a JC, I never encounter someone with the same name as me. Which is a good thing.

In poly, I started to encounter people with same name. A course mate having same name as me. Another course mate having same english name as me. Another evening classmate having same name as me. Always don't know who the teacher/lecturers are calling and sometime got a shock. So I did not make my english name known to prevent further confusion.

At work, I was known by my name till another colleague with the same name came. So I had to change to be known as my english name.

Since they noe me as my english name, and most people who view this blog r my colleague. so in my tag, i'll use my english name (short cut). but jus nw when i saw my sec friend who leave me a tag message, I just my name (short cut) to reply her. The exact same name my colleague s my colleague. Oops... I didn't mean to. But I'm just used to it.

fixing telephone line & internet broadband

today, there will be people coming to my house to fix telephone line and internet broadband.

this morning, my mum was asking if it's today as she have to clear the table top from the mess.

as she was clearing, i told her that they need to access the telephone line socket behind 1 of her cabinet as she was clearing stuff there. She started to grumble when I said that. She said so 麻烦.

At the living room, there are some cushions which I told her that she have to shift them to her bed as my aunt will be bring the dogs over. And she was unhappy again. She said she don't care. She don't want so many stuffs in her room.

But there is no choice what. She agreed to look aft the dogs and they do bite and spoilt things at their own house. So my mum got to keep her stuffs. Yet, today, someone coming over to fix the internet. So she got to give and take what. Grumble so much also no use. *sigh!*

Dogs-sitting (Shiro is unwell) + Connection of Internet Line

Because today, singtel people are coming over to fix the telephone line and setup the internet broadband service, I took half day off. I do not want to waste my leave by taking full day off.

As there are people coming to fix the internet, my mum thought I would take full day off. And I think she agreed to help my aunt to look after 2 of her dogs, Shiro and Ryu as Shiro is unwell.

My aunt will bring Shiro and Ryu over to my house before she went to work. And will come to fetch them back after her work. As she is going to my grandma's house to eat, she will go home to take a shower before coming over to fetch Shiro and Ryu.

My mum called me immediately to tell me. When I said I'm only on half day leave, she was lost again as she still have to take care of my cousins. Especially when she could not even leave them to the care of the maid for a short short while like when I say, just let her fetch Michelle while my mum fetch Nelson then go over their house. Just at most 1 hour also cannot. *sigh!*

In the end, she got no choice. She said this morning, the maid will look after the kids as she can't go away as she had to take care of the dogs. When I got home, and when she had to go to fetch Nelson from school, I'll look after the dogs.

In a way, it is still not right. I can't possibly leave the dogs alone while I attend to the people who come to fix the internet. I also can't leave the guy alone in the bedroom to fix the thing. -.-'''

Noisy Wednesday Evening!

Usually every weekday evening, my mum will be at my cousins' place as Michelle's school bus reached their place at around 6.30 to 6.45pm.

Yesterday, due to Monday's Youth Day, Nelson's tuition lesson was postponed to yesterday. Her tuition lesson end at around 7pm. Somemore, my aunt is on course so be going home late.

Thus, before yesterday, my mum was like grumbling about the timing, etc. I suggested she asked the maid to go fetch Michelle and go back to their house while my mum go to fetch Nelson. Yet she don't want.

So her plan become, the maid will stay at my place, she go over to fetch Michelle then take LRT to go fetch Nelson then come back to my house.

Usually, the kids don't stay at my house at that time on weekdays. So they got pretty excited, the moment they stepped into my house and saw their brother, Wilson, playing, they started to play also instead of going for a shower and had their dinner. My mum had to shout many times yet they still do not go for their shower and my mum got angry and started scolding them.

I was like tired so I thought of sitting down to rest (I don't mind if I fall asleep actually). Yet, my mum asked Wilson to come to tickle me thinking that I am pretending to sleep. As he is still very young, his tickle is not quite tickle. Somemore, his fingernails r v long & sharp. I end up helping him trim his fingernails and toenails. -.-'''

After which, I can't tahan watching them so I decided to practice my piano. I closed and locked the door behind me, switched on the air-con and started to practice. It is very hard to concentrate when I'm tired plus all the noise made by my cousins. They played till they were so excited that they scream and shout. I almost gone crazy at that moment but I manage to control and practice a bit till they go back.

Worst still, my cousins told my mum that they wanted my dad to drive them home. If I am my mum, I won't tell my dad as he is also very tired (start work at 7+am, go off at 9+ to 10+pm). I would tell the kids that he can't make it. Yet, my mum told my dad what the kids requested. Knowing my mum's temper, if we don't follow, she will be grumpy. *sigh!*

Mum doing the sourcing work for my cousin again

Yesterday morning, just before we went out (my mum going my cousins' place while I go to work), my mum showed me 3 items which she copied down. My cousin, Nelson, needs to bring those items to school.

I remembered last week, my mum told me that Nelson need 7 items. Out of the 7 items, my mum do not understand what these 3 items meant. I do not understand why my mum had to take the responsibilities to help my cousins source for all these items. Previously, the sea shells case. And now this. Can't she just let my aunt know? She does understand English. She could source for the items. Yet she did not do that. To make things worst, she only asked me yesterday morning. *Sigh!*

The three items are: Buttons, Assorted Bottle Caps, Used Bread Tags.

I told her in Chinese and my mum went to dig out 1 button. I told her the word got 's' so it's more than 1. She was like not happy. When I told what assorted bottle caps meant, she was even sianz as she said where to find so many different bottle caps. And she was like quite grumpy about it. I just ignore her after that.

While on our way out, she went to take a few bottle caps from my neighbour. From the bottles which my neighbour used to keep water to water the plants. OMG! I told my mum that she shouldn't do that. She said it's ok. My neighbour have so many bottles. He'll throw away those without caps. -.-''' Without saying much, I just walk away.
